Your challenge today is to use your sentiment dies (or a sentiment cut with your electronic die cutting machine.) Twist #1 is to use a pocket scrapbooking card or cut apart on your card. Twist #2 is to layer five of your sentiments to give your card some dimension (thanks to Jennifer McGuire's YouTube video for showing me this.) I used a 4x6 Prima card on this card and a Karen Burniston die.
Thank You

justjac, that card is gorgeous. I love the card you used and the addition of the lace makes it even more beautiful. Mine are much simpler, but I loved the dimension of the 5 sentiments glued together, and both gave me a reason to use PL 4x6 cards that just sit because they are too big to use on 8.5x11 scrapping. I think this will make me use a lot more of them. Thanks you for the challenge. Hugs and Celebrate cards

justjac, that is a beautiful card! I love how you used sequins and lace to really dress it up. The layered sentiment challenge is a great one.
nylene, your cards are eye catching and attractive. The papers you chose are the perfect background for the layered sentiment, as well as the button and bow.

Layered sentiment is from a very old Cuttlebug die. The cut apart I used was from BoBunny. I embellished with hand made flowers—I used the Heartfelt Creations Oakberry Lane Blossoms die. I also used a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Mine always wants to open up or just apart. scrapnnana lovely flowers! What did you use for the center? Microbeads?

Thank you nylene and azcrafty!
I used “prills” for the flower centers. They are like micro beads, except they are multiple sizes all together in the jar. Heartfelt Creations carries them. I don’t of anyone else, but I haven’t really looked. I prefer them to micro beads.
azcrafty, I love your stacked die cut phrase. That took more effort to put together, but it really makes your card striking. With the striped gold and white, as well as the black and gold card behind to create your border, it is a beautiful card!

scrapnnana those flowers are the perfect shade to match your lovely frame. Such a pretty card. azcrafty I love that Christmas die! Red was a wonderful choice. It really pops on the cards you picked.

nylene love the colors you used. Cute bow, how do you keep it together? Mine always wants to open up or just apart. I alway use liquid glue on my bows and hold them long enough that they are really stuck! Takes a few extra moments, but is worth it in the end. azcrafty , I love the black you used in your stacked sentiment. Really makes it pop. The use of the PL cards with gold foil adds class to your pretty card.

Here is my card for this challenge. It got a bit warpy b/c I used liquid glue, but it has 5 layered sentiments. Really should have looked for the full word dies (with the letters attached to each other) for this, but used the ones with the separate letters in them. Took awhile... fall anniversary by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

apparently I don't own any sentiment dies....so I cut this with my Cricut. Left the card very simple because the PP was so busy and the dimensional sentiment seemed like enough to me.

grammadee, your card looks fabulous! I love how you manipulated the letters, and added texture with the sequins and glitter.
Linda, I think your card is striking. The contrast between the patterned paper and the sentiment is so eye catching. I want to know what font you used, or what cartridge your sentiment is from. Do you know or remember? I love it.

scrapnnana - I'm sorry -I'm not sure what font that is and a quick look through my fonts didn't help. It's not from a cartridge, that much I do know - I don't actually know how to use the cartridges I've always used SCAL

Linda, I love the rose print on your background. Using your Cricut for the sentiment worked perfectly. I only have a few sentiment dies, but I quite often use my Sil. to cut multiple images and glue them together. I'm glad that with these challenges we can make the things we own fit. That is a very pretty card. Love the shape of that HELLO.

revisiting this challenge for iNSD I've since bought exactly ONE sentiment die so a Christmas card it was - super simple with all scraps - but 5 layers for the sentiment
