I am going through my Christmas stash today, and I found some papers from Gossamer Blue, I had forgotten how much I loved her designs, particularly the later kits.
Does anyone know what happened to her club? I know it abruptly closed, but I just wondered if the owner was ok.
There was also another kit, Work In Progress that shut down quickly too. She had a lot of fun mini kits iirc. Man, I miss a good kit!

I didn’t find gossamer blue until they were closing but I bought a warehouse box and adored it. I used it for December daily that year. I loved how clean their designs were.

I miss them too! I stumbled across a picture of my desk that had some of her paper and it reminded me how much I loved it. I think One Little Bird designed for them and I miss her too. She's stopped doing digital collections as well. I'm still sad about that.

Peppermint mentioned a career change in 2017, something about going from illustrating to spreadsheets, hence the end of OLB.
I have no clue what the details behind the ending of GB are. It was a bit of a quiet mystery. Going, poof, gone.

I’m glad you posted this. I have a stash of gb papers I’ve been hoarding. I’ve been in a use it or lose it mode so I’m going to go dig through it and do something with it!

Oh I looooooved GB and have a great stash from the several warehouse boxes I purchased. Such clean designs! I can't remember the reasoning on closing but like sleepingbooty said, poof and gone. |

There wasn’t a reason given when they closed. It was an oh, by the way this is the last month for our kits and that was it. I really loved their stuff too. I still have the full TN Christmas kit that I haven’t managed to use or sell yet.

There wasn’t a reason given when they closed. It was an oh, by the way this is the last month for our kits and that was it. I really loved their stuff too. I still have the full TN Christmas kit that I haven’t managed to use or sell yet. I have the same kit and I haven’t used it (or sold it), either! I miss picking up GB here and there. Great colors and very usable designs. |

I always meant to sub but it just never seemed to be the right time for me. When I did decide to just "go for it", I was too late! Filled with regret, I was determined to get a warehouse box so I could have a few of the products & guess what - I missed that too! It pains me that I just didn't sub when I could have!
