Here’s my card for today... CARDtober 14 by DanaToday’s challenge—use either shimmer spray or another textured spray OR layer die cuts. The “Thinking of you” die cuts are layered and the die cut star shape is sprayed with Heidi Swapp color shine. Extra point if you use both.

Your star looks beautiful! Unfortunately, I have no textured spray, and I am on a spending freeze. I played around with Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glam, and other options, but other than making a big mess, I could not even come close to the texture spray results. I did apply Wink of Stella to the label and the die cut layered word, but it doesn’t show in the photo, and I don’t know if it will count, anyway. This will have to do for me:

Oh, fun!
This would be a good one for me to dry my distress spray (which I think would count, being that it's a messy spray, and shiny, though not exactly textured or shimmery). I've had it for many, many months now, without having opened the bottle to try it. I'm allergic to messy!
Layering die cuts is well within my comfort zone though, so I will see if I can manage both.

Here is mine. I inked the background and layered a floral die cut over it. The sentiment had 3 layers of white and a layer of pink inked paper. I don't have dimensional spray, but I added Wink of Stella over the Sentiment and added dimensional flowers. Floral Die Cut Happy Birthdayscrapnnana, your card is beautiful. I love the layering and the colors you chose. That background floral is so elegant. Lovely card.

I struggled with this - my first cutting file was too intricate and didn't cut well enough at the size I needed. So I went more basic with the leaves. No texture anything here...

Thank you, Linda. Your fall card is great. I love the papers you used.
(I didn’t manage the texture aspect, either.)

Ok this was a pretty involved card, more than I had planned. LOL So first I spritzed some gold on to the background but I didn't like it so I sprayed some Dylusions Blue on it and that's how I got the background color. The deer die is from La La Land, star dies Lawn Fawn and trees from MFTS and snow die from Simon Says Stamp Deer by Dictionary-1, on Flickr
