Happy Double Dip Day! For everything you create this Wednesday (if you are a member of one of the October Teams) you will earn double points. If you create a card, you can double that point total again! Of course if you are not on a team you are still welcome to play along with any of the CARDtober challenges. Please share your take on this challenge in this thread. I am stepping in today for this extra Wednesday in the month. For your inspiration, I present to you an autumn mood board I found on Pinterest. Your challenge is to use these colours on a card: Fall colour mood board by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Here is the card I created with these colours, using Taylored expression stamp, Tim Holtz Oxide inks and some bits and bobs from my FALL bin: Getting inky by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Your twist today is to GET INKY! Use inks in any way you like: stamping, blending, edging.

OOh, that's gorgeous! I have Christmas supplies out but maybe I can do some fall color ink blending quickly before I start. I guess I better get down to work today because I have patterned paper backgrounds ready for 72 Christmas cards, I just need to add die cuts and stickers and such. If I could get a lot of them done today I'd be in the money (points)!

beautiful card grammadee here's mine - I broke into my September EP kit for this - no inking unless the pen stitching'll count

Beautiful papers in that kit, Linda, and you have used them really effectively. Pretty card. Thanks for playing!

Linda, I love those Echo Park papers. Such a beautiful soft colored collection. I really like the variety of the circle, oval and rounded corner elements. Beautiful, classy Fall card. grammadee, thanks for the challenge. I left love in the gallery. I have been trying new things with these cards each day. I buy stamps and am afraid to use them, or use them and mess them up and never try again. I was determined to use this stamp set I had never even opened. I don't have a lot of inks but I used what I had and do like the result. I messed up the rake, but will try this again and I enjoyed it. Fall Tree Card

That is a gorgeous card you made, grammadee, and the inking was really a challenge for me, although I probably chose the harder route. I got messy with inks, and I don’t usually do messy, at least not to this extent. Linda, those are cute cards, and perfect for fall. nylene, I love what you did with that stamp set! It’s such a beautiful card! Here is my card, although it has a shimmer that is not showing up in the photo.

Lovely card, scrapnnana. Interesting colours: love the unexpected pink! And the raised up leaves with the metallic gold and the sheer ribbon are beautiful.

I made a fall card using the new Carta Bella Fall Market paper, plus some older SU paper as the bottom layer:I copied this card from a YouTube video that Scrapbena did - she used the Fall Market collection to make 10 cards. I changed my background paper (the bottom layer) to SU paper, instead of the yellow paper she used, though. I also did a different sentiment.

Cute card, marg! I love the edging around it, as well as the papers. I also like that it is dimensional in a different way.

scrapnnana , I love the inking you did on your card. I love the addition of the pink. Just gorgeous colors. Your pretty veined leaves, sheer ribbon, and sequins all blend so beautifully. I love the sentiment too. Very lovely card. marg , I love the colors in your cards. That background paper is so bright and bold. The simple sentiment that doesn't cover it up is perfect. These are lovely. azcrafty , I love that rose gold embossing powder you used, and the background dry embossing is beautiful. Love the colors of your leaves. I never think to use ink to make my colored paper and then die cut. Thanks for the idea. I will be using this technique. This is a gorgeous card.
