I wanted to thank everyone here for the support and to let you know I received my care package with my awesome stuffed peas in a pod. I love it at made me cry and smile at the same time if that’s possible.
I had an MRI today and they called me and want to do a biopsy on the opposite breast tomorrow. That really threw me for a loop. I was not expecting that at all. I lost a bit of my positivity today.
Sigh! One day at a time; right?
Update: I feel like I am living a bad dream. I went for my biopsy and they couldn’t find the area under ultrasound. Now the radiologist wants to do a MRI guided biopsy. Truthfully the MRI was awful. Not looking forward to another. She did say it’s likely benign but how do you really know until a biopsy is done. Ugh! Anyway I have my initial consult with the surgeon on Monday from when the first cancerous spot was found so at least I’ll get some answers I think.

Totally one step at a time. My advice still holds: don’t panic until there’s actually something to panic about. Life is more peaceful that way. I wish you so much WELL. Go easy on yourself while you’re in treatment. Keep life simple if you can. Let people help you when they offer. And 20 years from now, I hope you’ll be like me and barely remember your treatment.

It is one day at a time, but that's so much easier to say than do, right? I'm sorry that you have more waiting and worry. Prayers for you and your doctors.

Sorry about the negative news but love your one step at a time attitude. Easier said then done but you’re surrounded by love here and the power of the peas. Hugs. 💓

One day at a time! You’re stronger than you feel, and we’re always here for you. The unknown is hard to handle... those little “what if’s” tend to creep in!

Oh, good grief! I mean, I'm glad they are being thorough, etc. but sometimes enough is enough. Fingers crossed and more prayers said!
