I have several stamp and die sets that I have not used enough. This challenge is to use a stamp and die set. If you don't have one, you can meet this challenge by cutting something out (either with a machine, a punch, or scissors) and coloring it. I used Tim Holtz stamps and dies. The twist is to pop up one of the elements that you cut out. Thanks a Bunch

Now that I reread the challenge, I guess I missed the part to color it. I used a Stampin Up set that has never been stamped. I had used the die, but never the stamps. If I get time I will try this challenge again and see if I can find an image that needs to be colored. Thanks, justjac for the challenge, because you made me dig out stamps and actually use them. By the end of this month I may be convinced that I CAN stamp. Christmas ornaments

Ok, I looked through my unused Stampin Up stamps and came up with this Santa. He has a matching punch. I don't have special coloring markers but Sharpies worked. I cut and colored 3 so still have another Santa I can use on a tag. Santa Christmas Card

I have a great little bear and snowman stamp + die set that I used last Christmas, but that might work with the extra Christmas card backgrounds I have on my desk right now. I'll try to get them done over the weekend, if I can clear my desk of the Doodlebug cards I have in progress. Your card is beautiful justjac and the popped up flower really makes it. So cool. Cut right up to the edge like that the flowers almost look real.

justjac, I love both your challenge, and your bouquet with the popped flower! I have so many stamp and die sets that I have never used. nylene, your ornament card is lovely, and the Santas are very cute! My hat is off to you for getting such good coloring with Sharpies on the Santas. I combined two stamp and die sets from Heartfelt Creations for my card. I had never used either one. I popped the wagon wheel. I had to position the wheel a bit low on the card and cut it off at the bottom to keep it from obscuring the lighted candle in the window. It might have been better as a 5x7 card, but the brick embossing folder wasn’t big enough to emboss a larger card.

scrapnnana, that vintage brick embossed background is fabulous. I'd love to have that embossing folder. Your coloring is always amazing. This card really speaks to me because we have a big wagon wheel under a window in the front of our home. There are no beautiful red cardinals in Utah, but we do have bluejays. This is one beautifully crafted card!! Thanks for sharing.

Funny I reread the challenge and apparently mixed the twist from #22 with this one so I used a background stamp..Oh well. Brand new stamp and die set from MFTS Bright_Christmas by Dictionary-1, on Flickr

It’s a very cute card, Dictionary. I love the different inkings with the background stamp. That’s a cute variation for Santa, too.

Dictionary - fun twist on Santa - love the background colours scrapnnana - gorgeous card - love the embossing and the cut off wheel works perfectly nylene - those ornaments are stunning! great job colouring the santas! justjac - lovely flowers and a great challenge - thank you! You got me to open a sizzlits stamp/die set (the sentiment is from an old $1 stamp set from Michaels) - no colouring but I did pop the sentiment. I need more practise with stamping for sure

Linda, I love your unicorn kitty. I'm glad you got to open and use something you haven't used lately. That's what I have loved about this month's challenges. I really like your sentiment stamp. I never find good ones at Michaels $1 bins. They are probably well picked-over by the time I get there. I'm glad you have it and you'll probably get good use from it. Great job on this challenge.

azcrafty, this is the cutest stamp and die set. I love the dark tree stamps on the lighter green paper, and those bare trees are perfect. Your little sledder is colored so beautifully. If I could color and shade like you do I might give in and get copics. I'm too shaky in my old age. LOL Beautiful card.

I'm using primarily spectrum noir markers they have a bullet point, its easier to color small tight spaces with them and have more control. TM sells them sometimes.
