I’m late! The story of my life right now. I’m sorry! Working has been kicking my butt lately! Your CAS challenge today is use an embossing folder & a die on the same card! I used a background embossing folder in this card then die cut the title. This card is borderline CAS but I’m still counting it. 😉  |

Totally gorgeous sample card!
I have no idea how "clean and simple" is defined, so if you say its CAS I'm OK with that.
I'll have to think on this one. I might be able to use a new embossing folder that's coming tomorrow.

I don't think I know what a CAS card is either, joblackford. I hope this passes for the challenge. I used a stitched die and an embossing folder for the background. The fish are left over old $1 store stickers, silhouette cut sentiment and handcut seaweed.  O-Fish-ally Awesome |

Linda, I love that embossed background. I don't think I have seen that folder used before. I love your QK angel die. It's just perfect with the white sentiment. Lovely card.

I always forget that you have to run 3D embossing folders thru the machine 3 times. I didn't forgot it this time and the end result is huge, so I think I will mark all my 3D folders with sharpie '3x' so I won't forget it again 🙂 http://instagram.com/p/B4SQq58gohl |

Those 3D embossing folders really make a deep impression. This is a beautiful card. Simple, classic and timeless. Very lovely.

azcrafty and Linda I love both of your cards!! I have a ton of embossing folders that I never remember to use. I’m so glad I pulled one out for this card! Embossing folders add a nice detail to cards.

I usually just run mine through once, or maybe through and back again. Does it make a big difference? The only tip I ever got for using them was to spritz the paper with water before sandwiching it, which definitely seems to help. Your poinsettia card is really stunning. I love that it leaves space in the middle to add a sentiment. |
