They don’t allow purchase of books, music and audiobooks through amazon apps. They’d be considered in app purchases and subject to give Apple/Google a percentage of sales.
They just started allowing a purchases using credits on the audible app. I assume because they’re already purchased, away from the app.

This month I really would’ve liked to try a few of them. I just finished a depressing and hard to read true crime, so thought I’d stick with crime fiction.

If You Tell is getting good reviews, y’all will have to let us know if you like it! I got In The Dark. I’ve read a couple of her books before, and really liked them. A lot of her books are available on Kindle Unlimited if anyone is interested.

So I started a book by the author of In the Dark, Loreth Anne White. It’s A Dark Lure and is wonderful. It’s one of those available on Kindle Unlimited. So if there are any of you that haven’t decided this month, I think it would be a great pick. If it doesn’t go to KU next month, I’ll be purchasing it. sassyangel, do you remember which ones you’ve read? I’m probably going to start a new one tonight. Or overnight, stupid cramps are keeping me awake.

The second one is the first of a three book series, but I haven’t had a chance to read the last two yet, but I really liked the first.

I chose "Holly Banks is Full of Angst" (I think that is the name.) I started it in the middle of the night a couple of days ago. It seemed like a light funny read at first. Then it got a little annoying. Then a lot annoying. By the time I was groaning and saying 'FOR PETES SAKE!' out loud, I was in too far and too tired to look for something else. I just stuck it out and hoped for it to get better. It wasn't badly written- but there were several times it got tedious, many times ridiculous- but not in an entertaining way. There wasn't anyone to root for because they were all so annoying. But the potential was there for a better book, and it was frustrating.

Not yet. I'll start it this weekend. I have to finish the one I'm reading first.
