If I recall correctly, this lion was shot sometime in the last couple of years. Not entirely sure but that one was named Christian. .

Christian has not been seen for awhile, so who knows about him. By now, he surely is dead from age, if nothing else.

I read this story with a group of Year 4 students last year (10yr olds). I brought the video up on screen for them to watch and they all got teary- in a good way!
I also bought a lovely ( but sad) picture book about Cecil for our school library - you have now reminded me to share it again.
