I was just browsing around the Kohl's site and I discovered that those throw blankets that we all buy are "regular $29.99" and they're on sale right now for $19.99. !!! Do people ever actually pay that? I bought about 10 of them earlier this month whenever that last sale was, for $6.00 each (after the coupon code and my Kohl's cash). wow... $30.00?? Even $20.00 is a lot compared to $6.00

I usually always wait for the good sales on them. But I did pay $14.99 for one once. It was off season and I needed it for a gift.

Kohl's regular prices are nuts. I don't shop there much, but I do know to never pay full price for anything!

I have purchased a big one blanket when it was on sale for $19.99 but 1. Dd needed a blanket for ivig infusions and 2. I had $20 Kohl's cash so I paid $0.
Sometimes you need an item right then and there and you can't wait for a big sale.

I usually wait for the good sales too. They just had the $10 off $25 sale coupon plus 30% off that I got in the mail. We used that plus Kohl’s cash. They do have some good deals now. I also read money saving blogs that help with this too. If I really needed something depending what it was I might buy it from Kohl’s, but it depends on the deal.

What's the lowest price I could expect if I don't have a Kohl's card and I just want to order one or two online?

I bought 15 of them several weeks ago (as a donation to our local helpline) for $7 and change a few weeks ago. They should be that low again around thanksgiving.

DO NOT EVER PAY more than $10! They'll be SO much cheaper on BF and usually go lower than $10 on sale throughout the year. They are REALLY nice, but hold out!

I just bought three more (that I probably didn’t really need) a few weeks ago too. I do have a Kohl’s card and after the sale and the extra discount I think they were $7.19 each. I figure they can be used at the lake cabin now that we can use the place over the winter.

I think it would be a good gift for my mil Keep your eyes opened here when we get close to Black Friday...we'll tell you when they're on sale! lol. But seriously, they are SO soft and cozy, and they're small enough to be a cozy thing to wrap around yourself while watching TV, but also big enough to use on the bed. I use two in bed every night... they're not quite long enough to cover you from toe to chin if you stretch out, but I use one on my feet and one tucked up around my face. This is in addition to the top sheet and a full size blanket. I LOVE these throws. lol.

I don't have a Kohl's card either, but you'll still earn Kohl's cash from ordering even without a card. I use my Amazon credit card so I accumulate points over there at the same time. lol. The blankets I ordered a few weeks ago came to $6.00 and something... I had Kohl's cash, plus there were several codes to apply to the total. You'll see the codes when you check out...there's a box that says "apply codes" or something like that and when you click on it all the available codes will pop up. You just click them one by one and the cost will drop. Very easy. I'd never even heard of Kohl's until I got involved with the Peas.

this will be a highly unpopular opinion and i know i'm taking my life into my own hands by saying this but.....i don't even thick those blankets are worth it at $8.00 when they are on sale on BF. seriously. i would rather pay a few extra bucks extra and get a plusher and bigger blanket. ((off to seek shelter from the rock throwing. LOL)

Yes, be ready to go right when they go on sale, especially if there are designs you really like because the popular ones will sell out. I ordered them for everyone in my family last year for home and a couple for the cabin. My little dog just loves curling up on mine and she gets a little miffed when I have it folded up and set off to the side somewhere.

They get dragged around the house and tossed in the wash a million times and they seem to hold up. They’re nice when you just want something to throw over you when you’re watching tv. I typically don’t want a bed sized blanket for that.

And she carries it up and down the stairs, to sleepovers to even just using in the car if she knows we are going to be in it for the long haul. But yeah to each their own. I bought them now for several years for teacher's gifts. I try to see what their likes are and try to match up a blanket. Haven't heard nothing but how much they love the gift (and it is different from what they normally get)...

Is it possible that's the full size blanket rather than the throw? I have the same blanket in full size on my bed. They usually have the full size blankets on sale for BF, too.
Kohl's usually starts their Black Friday sales online either the Sunday or Monday before Thanksgiving, so don't plan on waiting until Black Friday or you won't get any. The best prints sell out fast. I love that I can order things from Kohl's during the BF sale then pick it up at the store instead of waiting for it to ship. That's if it's something they have in my store. I usually pick my things up the night before Thanksgiving. Stores are a ghost town that night because everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving. Last year I met a couple that were shopping that night and they said they went to Costco and couldn't believe they practically had the entire store to themselves.

I don’t have any either. Too many other blankets in my house to get them because of a deal. Oh yeah, same here... .But I'm not keeping most of them. They're either going to be gifts or they're going to our local shelter (which has already confirmed that they'd love to have them...my church double-checked before we all ordered them).

These are throws, so for the purposes we put them to -- watching TV, extra on the bed (very soft and cozy pulled up around your face), taking to outdoor sporting events, etc. -- they're perfect.

I took one to a race a week or so ago, I've used one for star gazing at night, and a teacher brought one for outdoor recess today. lol...Wish I'd thought of that because it was darn cold out there since we were just standing around. lol

LOL.
