My surgery is a "go" for tomorrow.. UPDATE IN OP

This surgery was up in the air up until today, and now it's all confirmed. This is another eye surgery (to rebuild), and it's supposed to be about 3 hours.  

All I heard from my surgeon is that this is necessary. Not sure about the steps after this, but I'll get it done.

I won't be online for a few days (at least). I'll miss checking in here!

11/16/19 Quick update: surgery went well. My surgeon is happy. She took out a band of scar tissue so it should bring some relief.
She took a TON of membrane from my mouth to fill the socket with. I look like a prize-fighter!!! I can't drink or eat... DH got me Ensure, so I'm trying to get that down (no straws!). Fun.

I'm in ENORMOUS pain and I left with another darned bottle of hydrocodone (does nothing for me!!!!). Using my own headache meds but will run short. Stinks!!!!

Trying to stay in bed and ice my eye/mouth hourly for 15 min until tomorrow. Getting annoying.

Can't read or watch TV for now...just listening to TV...

DH has a bad cold (flu?? He didn't get his shot yet!!) so I'm more concerned with him now.

Lastly, my surgeon thinks I'll need "one more" surgery to add more fat in spots in the socket to finish is off. Can't even go there right now. I feel soooo done!!!!!

P.S. Cooked up a storm before I left, and I hope I'll be able to eat something tomorrow for my (lame) birthday!!
