LSU travels to Oxford to face Ole Miss on Saturday. They are a dangerous team because they have an up-tempo offense with a stellar running back. They also scored 31 points against Alabama! We'll be missing two key players on our offensive line so the game could get dicey.
Who does your team play?
GEAUX TIGERS!!

My Oklahoma Sooners play Baylor in Waco. Last I heard, OU was a 10 point favorite, which surprises me given that OU has played so poorly the last two games.
I'm hoping we can pull off the win and get back into playoff contention.

As I predicted, Penn State didn't stay in the top four for long. I did think we'd make it past Minnesota though. Oh well, that's football. Onward and upward! We play Indiana at home this week. GO LIONS!!!!

Some good games coming up this weekend. Georgia plays Auburn and, as always, there is no predicting how this game could go. There have been some classic UGA v AU games over the years. It's a game we often try to go to, but not this year. We'll be cheering on the Dawgs from home this Saturday.

Going to the Pitt UNC game tonight! UNC has won the last 6 games, but I think Pitt will win tonight!
My Terps are a lost cause, don't know who they play this weekend.

I'll have to agree to disagree with you cadoodlebug . Not a snowball's chance in hell we'll beat LSU on Sat. But it's very kind of you to compliment our offense and running back! I just hope the spread isn't as bad as I am expecting. Meanwhile, Miss. State is preparing to have the pants beat off them by Alabama, at home no less. Not a good football viewing weekend in the GypsyGirl household. Things are so bad in Miss. that the Clarion Ledger is now carrying more articles on basketball than football...in the South....before the end of football season! Very sad times indeed. Hope that Auburn can beat Georgia, and that Texas Tech can beat TCU.

I think that's generous. Out here high school football and the Sacramento Kings get all the front page newspaper coverage. LSU gets a little because of being #1 but usually it's just a score.

LSU gets a little because of being #1 but usually it's just a score. LSU is all over the papers and news here. Probably because Houston is full of LSU alum. There are many alum from both Ole Miss and Ms. State but we never get coverage at all locally. I had to resort to doing a 3 month digital subscription for news. The way both our teams are going, I'm thinking I wasted $5.

Then Steph broke his hand and all the players who are playing are off the bench. We'll be lucky to win 20 games.

We turned down tickets to the Nebraska-Wisconsin game...didn't want to drive 3 hours to see that potential catastrophe in person...

College GameDay is at Waco for the Oklahoma-Baylor game.
My daughter’s best friend and fellow Sooner fan is there. She asked for some sign suggestions and I suggested “Chip and Joanna Couldn’t Fix Up This Baylor Team.” I wasn’t the only Sooner who thought of the Chip and Joanna theme. I saw one sign that said “OU Doesn’t Like Shiplap.”
I’m really a big Chip and Joanna fan even if they love the Baylor Bears. They are the guest pickers on GameDay.

We didn't get blown out against Wisconsin!!! We had our groaning moments, but over all the game went much better than almost everyone expected.

Sending prayers and good thoughts to Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa who sustained a hip injury that looked really serious. As much as I dislike the Crimson Tide, I hate to see any player get hurt.

Also prayers for the UGA student photographer that got knocked unconscious. (Edit - at the UGA/Auburn game) That was scary to watch.

We were watching the game and you could tell how much pain he was in. There were several other injuries as well. DH commented that he couldn't remember when he'd seen a game with that many players hurt.

Clemson plays Wake Forest. GO TIGERS!!! I hope we (Pitt) get a rematch with Clemson in the ACC Championship game! Looks like we have a chance to play if we win the next two games and UVA loses one game. I do love Clemson, and if they don't play Pitt, Go Clemson!

LSU beat Ole Miss 58-37 but it wasn't pretty as I knew it wouldn't be. Kudos to the Ole Miss QB, I think, and hope, he's the best we'll see this year!

Might not have been pretty but those SEC rivalries usually guarantee some good football! I'm just happy that we did as well as we did. Really looking forward to seeing what our QB does over the next few years.

I have optimism for the future when I see how those young guys can play. We were also without Wan'Dale and we still had almost 500 yards of offense. Mistakes are the bane of this season. 2 more years and we should be in the thick of the Big 10.
