Wasn't there a post here, somewhere for pulled pork. The bone falls out when it's done?
I've tried searching for it and no luck.
Any assistance would be appreciated!
Thanks!!

I just buy a Boston butt roast, season it, and let it go. No need to add any oil other than spraying the crock if you want. It is very forgiving. It needs to cook 7-8 hours but can go longer if needed. I have cooked this in the crock pot over night as well.

This is the only pulled pork recipe I will ever make. It is soooooo good. And it uses that cheap shoulder roast that has string tied around it. I watch for it to go on sale at my grocery store and stock up on them. According to the recipe, you are supposed to cook it on a low temp in the oven all day, which I usually do, but I have cooked it in the crock pot as well. I've also taken it to my brother's and they cooked it in their smoker.

This is my go to shredded pork recipe. We use it for everything from tacos to chili. Like a previous poster, I use a boneless shoulder. Just made it today! Shredded pork

I only use a boneless pork shoulder or pork butt. They’re wrapped in that netting. I set it and forget it. Put it in the crock on low for about 8 hours and come back. It literally falls apart when you cut the netting off.
My favorite is with zero seasoning at all. We love sandwiches, nachos, by itself, in chili, so many ways.

I put a pork butt fat side up in the crock pot. Put a teaspoon of liquid smoke and Hawaiian red salt all over it and let it go on low overnight. I call it Kalua Pork Haole-girl style

Pork butt or shoulder, fat side up, a can of rootbeer and let it ride. Comes out awesome every time. The rootbeer doesn't add flavour, but works as a tenderizer.

A can of Coke does the same.
Don’t use diet, it doesn’t holdup to the heat.

For flavor you can't beat the seasoning called Good Shit - it is from (off the top of my head) Big Cock Ranch in Texas. Order some - you will thank me!!

Thanks so much!! I cannot find where I saw the original post. the simplest and one of the tastiest I've ever made was simply dumping a jar of pepper rings on top of the meat and letting it go. You can use mild to hot. I went with medium because kids can't stand the heat. Works for beef, too. And you can add stuff you'd like. Onions, garlic or a little taco seasoning, whatever. Or just rings. Some salt and pepper of course.

I rub my pork roast with barbecue seasoning, put it in the crock, add a bottle of good beer and cook it on low for 8 or 9 hours.

My go-to shredded pork is asian inspired but so good over rice. I eyeball this and don't have an exact recipe.
1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 hoisin sauce 1 tsp garlic 2 tbsp ketchup salt
You can marinate your roast and then dump it in or just pour this over a boneless pork roast and turn the crockpot on low for 8 hours. Shred and serve over rice.

My recipe? . . . 1 pork roast thrown into the crockpot. Dump in 1 bottle of bbq sauce (usually just use Aldi brand). Cook a few hours, shred and serve.

I’m not a fan of using a rosy with a bone in it because I find that little pieces of bone can also be in the shreds. I buy the pork roast with the netting around it and use The Pioneer Woman’s recipe with Dr Pepper. It adds a nice little kick!
