Due to the holiday season, we will be doing the December challenges a little differently. Instead of two teams, we will all be one happy scrappy family!
Near the end of next week, I will be setting up a thread to invite your challenges for the month of December. We can challenge each other--as usual--to create certain projects, use particular types of supplies or specific colour combos, represent certain themes in some way.
sleepingbooty will be posting a wonderful list of Photo challenges. Her prompts will inspire you not only to snap the 'usual" pic's, but also to look at the events of the season in new ways. They may spark some journaling, too. If those photos wind up on a page now or later, that would be a bonus.
We can also challenge each other to take on the holiday season in any crafty way possible: making lists, baking treats, wrapping gifts, creating décor items, decorating our homes.... And encourage each other to take photos and share these creative efforts. Many will be working on December Dailies, and we can challenge each other to get those pages completed. If not a DD, then maybe a Journal that tracks all the activities and emotions of the season?
Whether you count points or not, that is up to you. Maybe it will help you stay motivated to finish some projects. Or you are welcome to set up some friendly competition with each other if that adds to your fun. I will set up a general point counting system when I set up the challenge thread, and you are welcome to assign bonus points in any of your challenges.
December 1st I will set up a sharing thread so we can inspire and encourage each other with our holiday crafty activities. Please take a few minutes in your busy December to drop in there, share what you are creating, and comment on what others are doing.
No need to sign up for December. But hoping you can join us at some time during the month.
