I was on a cruise recently and the "tech guy" lecturer said this was good. It finds coupons when you are at the checkout online and you apply the coupon code instead of searching yourself.
I just want to make sure it doesn't do something weird to my computer because I wouldn't be able to figure out how to fix it.
Thanks!

I’ve used Honey for a while. It does a good job of finding and trying coupon codes, and I’ve definitely saved money with it.
The only thing that I don’t like, and it’s not Honey doing this, is that if you go to a site and click to enable Rakuten cash back, once you click on Honey to do its search it somehow disables the cash back. You can reactivate it after Honey is done with its deal search but it’s annoying, and it’s new since eBates became Rakuten.

I use it all the time! It's saved me lots of money! It also tells me that my item is sold elsewhere for a better price. Be sure to check the shipping. Sometimes the price is better but the shipping is not.

You know the old saying to the effect of "If you're not paying for it, you're the product?"
PayPal just bought Honey for $4 BILLION.
They're mostly buying user data. Think about how much data they must be scraping from your browsers if PayPal is willing to pay that much for it.
So. Do with that what you will.

My daughter put it on my computer over a year ago. It does a good job with finding and using coupons, and I can get a price history (at least on Amazon) for up to three months. The only problem I have it when I'm looking at my "save to" part of my Amazon cart can run very slow--but I do have several hundred items on the list, and it's try to gather the best price for all of them at the same time.

I use it. Don't remember how I found out about it. I also use WikiBuy.
