I am not sure if they are suppose to be exercise related? If not I have multiples of these ( though not this brand but they look kind of like it) skinny spatulas. These are the best for getting out the first piece or flipping smaller stuff. Not sure if others would like them but they are one of my favorite things under $10. You can’t get much for 10 and under these days. 😄 Hope you find some great gifts and have a super time. Norpro spatula

Be gentle with yourself. Just do what you can when you are ready. Do you guys think it would be a big deal if I just left the tree up with lights only and just dug the stockings out of the bins and skipped the rest? I'm not hosting anyone this holiday and I'm not really in the mood to do more. I did that one year and the lights still made me happy, even without my ornaments. Much easier taking down that year and ornaments didn’t have to be repacked. It was perfect for what I needed that year. I typically love my tree and ornaments and keep it up way past the expiration date but that year my tree made me happy in other ways with just the lights. I say leave it and enjoy the lights. ETA- dinner tonight is a cheesesteak sandwich I think.

All conjecture on my part as I own no tights and have no panty or socks drawers. They would probably go where ever I could fit them. I use cube basket type containers for underwear.
All socks are now in a laundry basket waiting to be sorted and ones with holes discarded. I have basically only worn fleece socks the last 6+ years and they come in very few different prints, and I mostly get black. So it is pretty easy to pick out two of the same from there or I just wear the ones that I have washed and are still in the dryer or laundry basket. I am sure the tights would be there also. Some day I’ll have nice drawers of neat clothes, it is still on the bucket list. 😆
I also would wear my tights over my underwear. 😉 I know this has been discussed many times before…underwear wearer or not. I am a have to wear underwear all the time, even with things like spanx type person.. It is just one of the many quirky things about me I guess. 😄

Sorry, I know nothing of how beef meat is cut.
I have a friend who loves beef ribs and it is alway hard to find them, especially at restaurants. Whenever he is able to find them on a menu you would think he won the lottery. 😄
this is what google had but I have no other information or know if this is correct.
The three types of beef ribs Plate Short Ribs. Back Ribs. Chuck Short Ribs.

I am not sure about other people but I have used one or another of the attachments to:
cut string, twine, packaging, other various things to open bottles The tweezers to pick out small things logged to tighten screws to pry out things that to puncture some thing as a cork screw
I am sure there are other things that I have used them for, probably some pretty strange things if I really think. Hahaha.

Welcome to the world of IT. 😆 You can test something a 100 times successfully and when it comes time to upgrade or convert…you are still going in blind sometimes (at least in my experience) Hahaha. Hope they get it resolved for you soon. 🤞

I believe David Holmes was/is the elusive teenage heart throb from the 80’s (?). He was in tiger beat and a pea (?) had his poster on their wall I think. Anyhow they were trying to find him and so far no one has. I think that is the basic story, although there maybe some corrections or additions to it. Hopefully someone can give some better crib notes to the back story. 😆
Thanks to disneypal (the next post) for the real story. Read below. 😄

The only people I see that keep one in their pockets are either shifty or have two names like Billy Bob. I associate pocket knives with rednecks. Ahhh come on you consider MacGyver a redneck? He would never be without a pocket knife…although the duct tape may tip the scale. 😆😆

I don’t but have thought about it. A friend always had one in her bag and it came in so handy many a time. My Dad and brother always carry one and they are well used. Unless you are going through metal detectors or screenings a lot (or maybe are around small children a lot) , I can see how it would be very useful at times. And it doesn’t take up much space. I often think of getting one but just never seem to do it. And I am thinking like a Swiss Army knife/jackknife type knife with my post.

Yes, they did. Fauci said "vaccinated people become dead ends for the virus" , Biden “You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.”, the CDC "Vaccinated people do not carry the virus — they don’t get sick, not just in the clinical trials, but it’s also in real-world data.", lots of main stream media and politicians parroting them while shaming anyone who questioned it. Some of them even went so far as saying they deserved to get sick. Hell, even the CEO of Pfizer said it's “100 per cent effective against severe Covid-19.” I am not disputing with you that it was said. The virus did mutate and the vaccine was very effective against severe Covid (although as we know now would NOT be 100%). They had to update their comments and finding…something most people who are looking at what was going on logically could see. Words and meanings are funny things. Similar to all those that are promoting that it is an open border with Mexico. Anyone using logic knows that is not true. While the policies may not be what you want we all know the border is not “Open”. It seems a lot of people are not thinking rationally these days. 🤷🏻♀️ I am responding just because…I can’t even remember why this back and forth of who said what is going on, so any comment is a general comment not directed at anyone. 😄

I have a shark and I like it. It is a pretty basic/cheap model (a couple of hundred dollars). The only two things that are kind of annoying is that it seems to be top heavy so I make sure leave so the handle is propped against something so it won’t tip over. It also doesn’t have enough places to keep all of the attachments on the vacuum so I seem to alway misplace those and have to go hunting for them.
Mine does have the canister that disconnects from the base/brush roller thing. I do like that and use it when vacuuming my stairs.
I had a canister vacuum before …truthfully not sure which style I like better. They both have pros and cons. It does suck well and I like not having to deal with vacuum bags.

I forgot the deviled eggs and pecan pies at my MIL's! What do you stuff celery with? Is it raw or cooked. Nosey Inquiring minds need to know. I am not sure what littlemama stuffs hers with but we usually have raw celery stuffed with cream cheese and olives or cream cheese with onion soup mix, but that is pretty basic. I have seen a lot of recipes that mix like an Italian or ranch with their cream cheese. I will also be interested in what she uses. 😄

That was a very nice post. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, I hope you enjoy your day.
I agree with being grateful for everything. I have to work tomorrow but am happy to have a job. I will not be going to my parents’ but will be able to do so this weekend. I have a friend who is cooking so I will have a nice meal before work. I will be able to FaceTime with all my family which is a wonderful technological advance that has added so much when we can’t get together. Very thankful for what I have. I hope every one has a wonderful day no matter who you spend it with or how/if you celebrate.

I ‘d use (and have used) the original (although I think I like the OnePie recipe better) because I always substitute some maple syrup for part of the sugar. Good luck with your pie.

Update - he's finished! I can't see any damage and it looks much better than before, but I'm just glad he's gone to the grocery store and out of my way for a while! Thanks for the support, Peas! I knew I could count on y'all! Looks better until you start cooking your thanksgiving meal. But give him a gold star for effort. 😄. Glad he is done, that your oven is usable,' and that he is out of your way for now. Happy prepping.

Thank you for taking one for the team. I was wondering the same thing. I’m a scrunched up TP wiper too. I don't wear super long nails because I can't type with them, and I spend a LOT of time on the computer, but I do think they are beautiful. The number of rude comments on this thread honestly have me like Don't yuck someone's yum. For butt wiping, I really don't understand the toilet paper scrunchers. It seems like that would make it more difficult to get clean and dry. I roll or wrap, even when using public bathrooms. I'll pull out a length and then fold it up nicely. I am a scruncher ,I think it feels like it gives me more distance from everything I want to keep my fingers away from. 🤷🏻♀️😆😆. My stance on long nails is really no love or hate…fascinating to look at, seeing some nails always brings unanswered questions to my mind, not for me, and I love that people get joy out of their nails. For me they are. Just part of my hands.

I wear my nails very short. I can’t do anything (especially type/use a keyboard) when they get longer than the tip of my finger. I would not choose to have long nails. I really have no love or hate of them on other people but they are not for me. They seem like they would be a lot more of a pain than not.
ETA - I was probably a teenager the last time I wore nail polish on my hands and I’ve never had a manicure or pedicure. 😳😄

It’s an anti vax propaganda piece. Not surprised to see you pushing this crap here. More of the usual from you. It would be one thing if a discussion was wanted but it obviously isn’t. 😉😉😆😆 I am still waiting to have a discussion about the Keystone XL pipeline, why it should be continued and how it would lower gas prices and I really am interested in her opinion on why it should be one of the first things done if/when the controlling party changes. 🤷🏻♀️

If you think about it though per your previous post, most became sedentary because everything shut down. So yes, Covid lock down could very well have been the reason the blood clots came about. I know, there are so many factors. It is just something I thought was really odd to have so many members of my family experience that I can't help but try to analyze it in my head. Two kept on working in their very physical jobs and my mom, she's 92, so she wasn't real active to start with. I totally understand, and I think it is human nature to wonder or hypothesize when you see something new or have a bunch of (often unrelated) like events happening. Heart arrhythmias has been mine. It seems it has been popping up in people I know more lately. Fleetingly wondering if there is some reason it seems so prevalent in people in my life now. However I said the same thing about polymyalgia rheumatica when my father had it (before Covid). I had never even heard of it but after my dad was diagnosed I hear about people I know being diagnosed with this all the time. I never say never, but I am pretty confident that our best choice was/is to get vaccinated - not only the best personal choice but the best choice to help your family, your coworkers, your neighbors, and just humans in general. I will never regret listening to the majority of the Drs and other medical/science related people. Too many people (general people) seem to think it is all or nothing or if it isn’t 100% effective it is considered a failure. Nothing works that way in the real world. 🤷🏻♀️

Because at the time it was. During the trials that is what happened but when the larger population received the vaccine and Covid began to mutate and change, it then helped lesson the severity of Covid. Science is ever evolving and as we test and research and read data things change and that is okay. I'm tired of people being stuck with the but they said camp. It's not a "but they said" camp. Scrapper100 said "they never said it" I'm just showing that yes, they did. That is the nice thing with everything recorded and spread all over the internet it is pretty easy to verify what was and was not said, even when denied. That is something that everyone (general everyone) should keep in the forefront of their mind, especially when using words like “never”, “always”, “absolutely”, etc…or those known for just telling blatant lies.

Can you give us the jest of this video. I don't have an hour to watch. Thanks! I haven’t watched it but I think it is supposed to be a documentary to show that the Covid vaccination is killing people by causing these long stringy things in the blood. Supposedly (can’t say if there has been research or peer reviewed articles on it) funeral people are reporting this.
