For me, it's my pattern paper, I am always reorganizing it!

I have made an executive decision to not worry about getting them all done. My kids are 30 and 32 and I'll NEVER be able to go back and scrap all those years of pictures so I've decided to just choose some favourite photos here and there over the years to scrap.

My most difficult thing to organize is all my ephemera. Do I leave it with the kits or do I just put it all together in a basket?

This isn't really a horror story but my two biggest pet peeves about attending a crop are being forced to listen to someone else's taste in music, and people that NEVER stop talking!!

I've actually scrapped more this summer at my trailer then I've ever scrapbooked in the summer before.

Good luck! I am doing the same thing when I get back from vacation. Every summer my scrap room turns into a disaster!

I am going to a Hobby Lobby for the first time next week when I am on vacation. I am from Ontario and we don't have that store here. Where I camp I can cross over to the US and shop at the store in Syracuse, NY. I can't wait to check it out. Just hope I don't get hit with too much duty returning across border.

I love this board as well. Is there a reason there's no gallery?

I think no matter what the style or trend, I think for me a "typical" layout would always include the photos, a title and the journaling. Everything else is whatever floats your boat.

The only thing that stops me is time. I WISH I had more time to scrapbook. I seasonal camp and some of my camping buddies are scrapbookers and we set up all day crops outside but that only a once or twice during the summer.

I'm with 3dcrafter , I also suck at colouring with markers. I went out and bought a whole bunch of Copics and I never use them. Just can't get the hang of it. I guess that's not really a tool, just lack of talent lol

Every once in a while I go through my stash to throw out or give away but when I touch that certain thing I haven't touched in a few years, I always hesitate in case I "might" use it one day.

I have always and still do love Basic Grey. However didn't like Crate Paper and now I love. Same with My Mind's Eye, love it now.

I must say I have mixed feelings about crops. I love when I get there and chat with everyone and see what everyone is working on etc etc. However I always ask myself if it was worth all the packing up and unpacking. I think I may get more done if I just stayed home.

I honestly don't personally know of any burned out scrapbookers. And I belong to quite a large group of them. As a matter of fact, they seem more enthusiastic then ever! We all traditionally scrapbook and have incorporated using some PL cards into our pages. We look at it as just another cool embellishment.

I had the original small Cricut that first came out that only cut 6in by 12 in. and I loved it. When CTMH came out with Cricut cartridges that cut really cool 12x12 backgrounds I decided to upgrade and bought the Cricut Explore 2……..HATED it!! I had so many problems with it and Michaels (where I purchased it) sent me to Provo Craft but I still had problems so I finally ended up selling it and went with the Cricut Expressions. and LOVE it!
Hope this helps

I find I tend to splatter on layouts with a masculine look. Like my son is a bass player in a rock band and I splatter with black a lot on his pages to give it a "rough" look. Oh ya, and I marble paint a lot with my daycare children…..lol Never thought to do it on a layout, will have to try that! Love all the layouts above.

I am also not a fan of chain restaurants but I do like Red Lobster even though it's WAY too pricey for me.
