Those plastic doohickeys for wrapping and storing embroidery floss work really well. Plus they have holes punched in the end so you can put them on a ring. plastic bobbinsI already have bobbins so that would work great. Thanks.

If you want a mini, go for the prizm. Spellbinders...works like the big machines (sturdy plates and everything) and has a slightly wider capability over the Diamond Press...many of the lawn fawn coordinating critter dies do not fit the DP by millimeters but have more than enough room in the Prizm. $39.99...wait for a half off coupon at Michael's. Thanks so much for the Prizm. I got one at Hobby Lobby today and love it.

I am going to a crop next week and wanted to get some of my washi tape prepped to share with others, any ideas on how best to do that?
What should I put it on?
Thanks.

oaksong , look up Pic Monkey to make a 2 photo collage. Becky Higgins has really helpful ( and specific! ) instructions on one of the PL blogs on how to do it there, and on a couple more sites as well. I'll try to link it later ( I don't know how to on my phone ) and best of all, it's free. Looked up Pic Monkey. I think I'll wait on that one. It's brand spankin new and only has 1 review. Need to look on you tube now. Becky now has a link to PicTapGo in the app when editing/collaging photos.

Does anyone have this? What do you think of it? I apparently sold my big shot platform in a purge last year, so I can't use my big shot and was thinking about this for 2 reasons. 1. Really convenient, would be able to sit it on my desk or pack it easily for a crop. 2. Would just make things so much easier and quicker.
Also, can you use other manufacturers small dies in this?
I know. They are both kinda the same reason, but I'm trying to make myself decide.

KOLO makes some classy black albums and pages. I ordered one to make (remake) my childhood album. Rubber cement and photos.... not a good combination. I was just coming to mention this. Or check out Exposuresonline.com, they have some wonderful albums.

To those with the thick curly hair jealousy. Not hand-slapping and I can tell how much y'all want it. but.... I can tell you from my experience it's been torture. My hair does what it wants on a daily basis. I wake up looking like the "heat miser" (from Year without a Santa Claus). I don't have to use a brush to style it, because if I did the frizz would make me look like I just came from the 70's. The only person that ever touches my head is my stylist. My hair gets so heavy it hurts my head. When I have it styled, she does as much thinning as she does cutting. and lets not forget the late 80's when I tried having it highlighted (when they pulled your hair through a cap), it lasted maybe 10 mins, and I left crying my eyes out, it hurt so bad. Oh and all the teasing of childhood. They called my birdsnest because there was really nothing you could do with my hair then.

I'm jealous of people who live in a place with more than 1 1/2 seasons like we have here in TX. I know though that living here has provided my family a roof over their heads. My husband has an easier time finding a job here and for that I am eternally grateful.

Confession time....I find myself stopping there almost as much as Tuesday Morning. Cute tapes, sequins and stickers. Who else shops there and what do you find that's really good or really bad?

The stencil Winter Delight is the one I tried that ripped. The other one I tried was "Oh my stars" and it was fine.
I think the fact that the larger stencil is the one I used and it was just not coming up.

I was recently at a crop at a scrapbook store and tried the stencil with snowflakes. Well I wish I had tried it...it ripped from the moment I tried taking the stencil off the backing. It was such a disaster the owner refunded my money.
She also has another smaller stencil by BB and it worked fine. I think the size of the snowflake stencil had something to do with it.

After reading everyone's horror stories with the drops, I finally used mine (have had them since June). I have to say I am very pleased. I used a little secret weapon to aid me. It's one of those little personal fans. Dried them in about 3 hours. I've been touching them many times- no fingerprints.
They are lovely. Thank goodness I am at a retreat this weekend and it just happens to be attached to a huge scrapbook store. And they have them in stock!! Awesomeeeee!

And can I just say, I am totally looking forward to Christmas. I watched an unboxing video on youtube from CraftyJenSchow and if they offer the same kind of kits this year I will get all the add-ons. I'm still thinking of getting additional stuff from the July kit.

I just subbed to FJ earlier this week. I've been trying to make a decision on a kit club for the last couple of months and finally decided. I got my ship notice last night. SaveSaveSame here. I saw the July kit by Susefish and loved it. Now I'm a subscriber.

Susefish, I hope to see more of your designs. This is the only kit I've ever purchased. I saw the wonderful Victoria Marie use it and had to have it.

I went yesterday after not going for 6-8 weeks. I picked up three 25 packs of Jilli Bean Soup papers that are super versatile and one 24 pack of KI that are blank calendars. I knew if I left those I would come up with a really good reason to buy them, so I saved myself a trip back. I also got a Kaisercraft five pack of 12x12 sticker sheets that had beautiful flowers and two alphas. They also had individual sheets of graphic 45 Christmas sticker sheets with alphas and tags for 99 cents. I went in search of Kaisercraft. Do they just have the sticker sheets or do they have paper, also? The shops I go to have quite a lot of papers. I would say 6-8 different packages.

I was pet sitting over the weekend and stumbled on a different TM than I usually go to and, holy moly, the place was packed with craft stuff!!! I've never seen so much craft related stock at a TM - 4 shelf units crammed with product. There were 6x6, 8x8, and 12x12 pads by companies I'd actually heard of (SC, Crate Paper, Shimelle, Heidi Swapp, etc) and lots of single design paper packs (I found some Kaisercraft which is one of my favorites), Bazzill CS in almost every color except black and white (sadly), stencils, dies, embossing folders, die and stamp sets, Dylusions and Tim Holtz products, pens, inks, paints and brushes, stamps, embellishments, Thickers... you name it. I'm sure I'm forgetting things, because it took me quite awhile to look through everything. The products seemed newer than I would have thought - I was looking at some of the dies and stencils at Michaels and my LSS just a couple days earlier. Heck, I bought a bottle of Tattered Angels Shimmers watercolor paint to try and really liked it so I went online to look for more and it turns out the stuff was only released about a month ago! I talked to one of the TM employees about the amazing selection and she admitted they are known for getting the most craft stock of any TM locations nearby. She said their store is stalked by a number of women who come every week on the day the truck arrives and buy cartfuls of merchandise, sometimes ALL the items. I figure those are probably re-sellers. I think it's a good thing I don't live anywhere near that store or I'd be in serious budget trouble... What city/ state is this in? If you don't mind sharing your secret🤗
