It's sad that they even have to do this, but rich, old white men really don't want to share the sandbox. Good for them!

Well I'm not sure I could have given that cutie up! I mean really, how can you not smile every time you see that face just hanging out there enjoying your tree?

I just never realized how many people in this country (world?) were really rotten to the core before the reign of the reality TV star and bankruptcy pro. I feel like I'm living in an alternate universe most of the time now where rational, logical thinking is the norm. He should be called on his outrageous statements and the DC Bar should definitely investigate him.

What? For $740? People would buy that? It's ridiculous!
I'm totally inspired to fancy up my rubber gloves now though...

Umm 🙋, what is this gift card sale of which you speak? Please. It's the one or two days a year that Target gift cards are discounted so you can stock up on them and save a little money. It usually happens the first week of December.

Thanks for this. I received an email, but hadn't had a chance to read it yet. That's insane that they're rolling it out as enabled instead of letting you opt in to the stupid idea.

If you got a new iPhone 12, what color did you get? Do you like the color? I really want to see one in person before I get one, but I don't know if that will happen. Trying to decide on what color to get. I've heard the gold looks more white, and that the blue is nice. The blue is pretty and the gold is a light gold with a very shiny gold edge. The red is really nice - deeper than what you see online.

There's no legal difference but context can make a difference. In general it means that the owner will provide you an option to buy the property on the terms in the agreement and for the tenant it means that they have the choice to purchase according to the terms in the agreement. Make sure the terms of the purchase are spelled out in detail.

Well that's a special way of revealing the sex of their baby. Yuck. It's such a juvenile, 10 year old boy way to describe things.

I wish I could send you a hug. You were not wrong. Your daughter was completely thoughtless and mean and needs to apologize to you. She was a bitch for thinking the world revolves around her and that being an hour late for dinner (meanwhile ignoring your texts) was ok. And f' off to your ex. What a jerk. Good for you for blocking him.
I hope today is a better day.

We usually go to my sister's to celebrate with her and her boyfriend's family (not huge usually 7-10 people), but this year it's just us and the pups and a nice big turkey for lots of leftovers! We'll make our favorite sides and stuffing and I've got two pies (not sure it's enough) - a sweet potato pie and a cranberry lemon tart. Most of this is already cooked and ready to go. It's supposed to rain all day and we are really looking forward to relaxing, watching the Macy's "parade" and some movies and generally just relaxing. I hope you all have a good holiday no matter how you are spending it. It's good to be alive and be with the ones we love in any way we can. care to share the recipe? It sounds intriguing. Here it is: Food Network Cranberry Lemon Tart
This is my first time making it and the filling is delicious (I licked the pan ) and will make up for my wonky tart shell. I used my ninja smoothie blender to make the filling and did it in smaller batches since I don't have a regular blender.

Sounds like most everyone is having a different sort of holiday this year. I didn't anticipate having a kidney stone as one of my Thanksgiving companions! Will just be the 3 of us here and we decided to order in instead of cooking. Just thankful if we can all remain relatively healthy from the virus. Wishing all the Peas a happy Thanksgiving despite the challenges that 2020 has brought. I hope that stone passes quickly and that you're feeling better soon.

We usually have family from one or both sides here, but we’re just doing the household. My college student isn’t permitted to leave campus. I was very disappointed to find out that my BIL, who is in a high-risk job, is hosting both sets of his elderly parents/ parents in law at his house :/. I am disappointed only because my father has terminal cancer and this is likely his last chance for thanksgiving. Our state numbers have gone up, and state guidelines are not to host family; my mother is 77 and does not have terminal cancer, and I want her to be around for many years to come. I am having my parents swing by outside to pick up boxes of dinner. I'm sorry that you can't spend the day with them. I hope you have a nice quick visit though.

Stuffing waffles?? Tell me about this! Leftover stuffing into the waffle iron. Then pour gravy over the top. Best part of leftovers! Totally inspired to make these now!

We had planned on a smaller version of the traditional thanksgiving here with just the in-laws (my family is far too big to consider safe so we bowed out of that). Bought the turkey and all the fixings the other day. Today we buried my 42yo brother in law and dh decided he just can’t do thanksgiving. So we stopped and picked up a prime rib, mil/fil might come over if they’re up for it but most likely it’ll just be the 4 of us. I'm so sorry. This must be so hard for the family. Hugs...
