I really don't get the "framily" phone commercials. Why is the dad a hamster?
My daughter loves them because her name is Heidi and looks just like the Heidi on those commercials.

I wax my eyebrows but shave my chin daily. No way am I growing the chin hairs long enough to tweeze or wax!

My 11 year old DS has a very bad habit of chewing with his mouth open, even though we repeatedly ask him not to and have him practice chewing with his mouth closed. I am beginning to think there is physical problem preventing him from eating correctly. It seems that he can't breathe correctly with his mouth closed and he says it is hard to taste his food with mouth closed.
He doesn't snore but the dentist does notice he is a mouth breather. Should I make a special doctor's appt to discuss this or wait until our next checkup? It has always bothered me and now I want to get this solved before girls really start noticing this horrible habit.
If it isn't medical, how do you make a kid chew with their mouth closed? My mom suggested eating in front of a mirror, which I don't think is a bad idea.

My Dh likes to tell the story of when he went to his grandmother's house after a LONG week of college finals. He was sick and just exhausted. The next morning his grandmother came in and asked, "Are you going to sleep all day?" It was 8am!

We are currently driving back to Texas from Colorado and had to pull over for my DD to puke. Both kids have puked on both planes and in cars, but there is no pattern as to when they will do so. DS will soon be flying by himself and then driving with his cousins to camp in the mountains of Arizona. I would like to be able to give him something that he can take/use himself that can prevent the motion sickness. I would like to stay as natural as possible - no Dramamine. By the way, these are kids who can ride roller coasters all day long, but mountain driving and rough plane rides can do them in.
