I'm guessing the coffin is for when you fall down those stairs and break your bloody neck!

I'm guessing it's a couple who loves Halloween. Still, not a house I would consider. The rooms are oddly shaped and I had a claustrophobic feeling. I would keep driving by. I’m not getting a “couple” vibe, this screams single man. Maybe papersilly can shed some light on the owner?

Maybe papersilly can shed some light on the owner? my mistake, the owner didn't post his house. a fan of the listing posted it. the jerseys on the wall were famed Raider players so that's probably why the poster shared it with the Raiders group. after all, they are the Silver and Black team so the decor of this house fits. not much was else was shared on the group other than they thought it was a bachelor's pad too.

I don't want to know what kind of freaky sex goes on in the bedroom with mirrors on all sides! I do like the spider web railings. I'm not normally a religious/spiritual person, but some saging would be done.
The bones of the house look great. It's just getting rid of the death and Raiders.

Yes, it did look clean. That basement - two random armchairs, and carpeting around the water heater??? It looks "fake" to me - like a stage set. Well apparently it was modified - from story interviewing owner. I think it's hilarious that that real estate agent thought that was the only problem with the decor.

He has a hearse in the garage, and cemetery gates and headstones in the backyard. I doubt much freaky sex is going on there. I'm guessing his mom might be turning in HER grave, seeing what he did to her house. ETA: I stand corrected, given what was posted above about the horror movie props being stored at his fiancée's house. I guess there really is someone out there for everyone, lol.

My husband would love this house. I won't even show it to him, because he will demand to renovate. I imagine he has hosted some great football parties, especially around Halloween. It's not my style but I have to applaud a dude committing to a theme.

Got to give the guy credit, he really committed to a theme. I don't think the space is bad but I'd have to redecorate everything. Also, I don't like no hand rails on the stairs. I thought you couldn't sell a house w/ out them....maybe that's just in MA??? I think the yard has good space and I think the bar is cool, however, would have to change it. The basement has good space too. It bothered me that it was carpeted but the ceiling was unfinished. You could finish the ceiling and add a bath. I thought the basement looked weird with the 2 chairs and a TV until I read in the article he had life size statues from horror films and the realtor wanted him to remove them. Good call.

I read the article and it looks like he's moving to my neck of the woods. I'll let you know if I see any newly horror themed houses being redecorated. We have a great historic cemetery, so he'll enjoy perusing through there!
I believe in MD that you do have to have handrails on open stairs. At least you did when we moved 20 years ago. If he's had an inspection done, they'll ask for that before a buyer has a final walk through.

Well, it isn't that far from me so maybe I should go and check it out! Yeah, I'm sure that the lack of railings on the stairs are a no-no and would have to be fixed . It's really hideeous.

Not my thing at all, but at least it's clean. Those stairs would be a death trap for me without handrails. All the attention to detail in the decorating came to a dead stop for me when I saw the pictures of the cabinets in the kitchen and the bottoms weren't painted black. My OCD went NOOOOOO! My DS has some friends that would LOVE this house exactly as is. It's right up their alley. They are very Goth. I thought of them as soon as I saw the first pictures of the inside of the house.

I kinda.. like it? Needs some colored pillows but it's not too shabby lol!
Those sex mirrors would have to go though, I'd be terrified of them falling as I slept.

With all the bedroom mirrors, I am really surprised there is not a workout room with tons of equipment. My assumption is that anyone that likes to see themselves that much, especially in vulnerable positions, must love every inch of their body, therefore lots of working out. Yes? I was half expecting to see portable roll-up klieg lights in the master bedroom too. Maybe they are in the closet?

Cause NO ONE needs to see this (me nekkid) and add mirrors to a room... that is freaky. I am horrified. I don't even look at my bathroom mirror unless I am brushing my teeth or hair. ewwwwwww I don't even like mirrors in the store. Like Hobby Lobby has an aisle of just mirrors.. I skip it...only freaky people go down that aisle.

Here were my thoughts as I looked at the photos. Cute house...but $250,000 for a one bedroom one bath? Wow. Ok so it’s nice inside, gray/black color palette that could be a good foundation for any color you wanted to add. Jerseys are weird—little big for the space but to each their own. Oh.......a coffin in the corner. Here’s where it starts to get weird. Oh...lots of coffin decorations and shelves. Well, wonder if any of those are built in. I can’t really tell. It’s clean, especially with mostly black and dark gray. Seems well kept up. Good use of a small space. I bet they have the best Halloween parties in the backyard. I’d go if I were invited.

Definitely owned by a younger man with an aversion to hand rails. All the coffin stuff was over the top, but no handrails on the stairs bothered me (I have a fear of falling on stairs) I want to know what is behind the tiny doors in the bedroom lol. As a positive, the house looks very clean.
