Can you share some tips/tricks for sharing a two page layout? Do you photograph them or scan them?
Alissa's looked great on her number paper thread. I am struggling with mine...getting them even, getting both sides to look like they are the same color, etc.

Hey, sure!
I photograph them. We have a French door that's almost all glass and some indirect sun comes in right there in the morning. It's a good spot, for the most part. Sometimes I get some darker areas on the bottom or sides, but I usually fix that in Photoshop by using the Auto Correct feature. I really try not to stress about getting a perfect photo, too.
I put the pages right next to one another and stand so that my camera is directly above. Be sure you aren't causing a shadow (my locale is great bc it doesn't do this). I sometimes have to kind of lean the top half of my body over the page to get it straight on. Even if it's a little lopsided, I can straighten it out in photoshop, too.
I use my DSLR, but my iPhone works pretty well too.
I then straighten, autocorrect for any shadow/color issues, and crop out my floor in Photoshop.
I used to scan and stitch my pages... What a pain. This is a lot faster!

Thanks! I had tried doing them outside on our deck yesterday, but wasn't doing both pages together. Even though the pages were in the exact same spot, the colors were way off from page to page and I couldn't correct them in PSE. I'll try standing on something to get up high enough that I can capture both pages.

I lay mine on the floor and stand over them.
