JustKat's list is funnier/more true for me as well. I just cannot stand Michael's. All of them. There's like 5 within an hour and a half's drive (anything down the hill, basically) and while Victorville's takes the cake for AWFUL, they're all under-stocked, over-priced, and just plain pathetic when it comes to scrapping stuff. Especially since two of them (Redlands and Ontario) have done the re-do within the last six months or so. They got rid of so much, moved things around, and nearly everything you get seems to be broken. Let alone that it's all "STICKERS and RECOLLECTIONS!!!" all the time. Blegh. Most of the time I walk in and walk right back out unless it's something small and specific that I need like those cheapie foam brushes I use for glue. My coupon discount last time I went was .25 because I wasn't buying anything over .50

Wow, I'm glad so many of you like my list. lol I'm always amazed when I hear someone say how much they love Michael's or what a great deal they got there on xyz. I'm all like whaaa??? That's why I started a thread asking for online recommendations. I wish my Michael's was as inspiring as the one in the OP's link.

While I don't love Michael's, it is the closest big box to me, so I shop there out of necessity/desperation.
Both lists were true and cracked me up!

I too live where there is no longer a LSS. Since I've lived here there have been 4 that have opened and closed in 10 years. So I only have Michaels and Joanns. Even in Salem, OR where my parents live there is NO LSS. But they have a Craft Warehouse and huge Michaels. Last weekend I went to both and saw a bunch of things a Ms that is not at my tiny local Ms. So I am relegated to Big Box shopping or online shopping. Good thing my stash is HUGE so I don't have a great need to go out and buy stuff.
But the OP and Kat's list are hilarious! Thanks for sharing!
