Ok hands down favourite ink of all times is Ranger Black Tie Dye Ink pad Ranger Ink
I got this as a Simon Steals and Deals some time ago , I mean couple years ago, I only cracked it this year. Since I have started using it oh my. I use it for all my sentiments, or anything I am stamping and not copic colouring. I LOVE IT. Its so crisp, it doesn't blotch . Life changing for me. Yes I'm a little excited about this ink. Next Ink that I think is absolutely amazing for copics is the Gina K Amalgam ink Gina K I do not like Memento, I do have the MFT hybrid, which is nice a good back up. I also have the SSS hybrid. Haven't used it much. But after trying the GINA K I really love it. Its stamps crisp. No real blotching. It dries nicely, I don't feel I have to heat set it. Well that is my two cents worth on INKs.

I love my versafine, it's my most reliable, followed by momento. I have the gina k amalgam, but it's so juicy I get less crisp images.
I'd love some peas feedback on all the different dye inks out there.
Are the pinkfresh ones good? Gina K?
I have SSS, hero arts and lawn fawn. The SSS seems blotchi-est. The lawn fawn was really dry.
I'm not looking for a full set - I just want to complete my colour ranges and I always get "buyers freeze" from too many options!

I don't know what is my fave yet! I have some stampin' up, ehhh it's ok. I have TH oxides (a couple) and some distress ink. I have momento tuxedo black, sometimes does fuzzy stamping with words which sucks. I might have to try the Ranger black.

Versafine onyx black is hands down my favourite black when I'm not using copics. I don't really like memento so with copics I usually reach for Gina K's amalgam ink.
In terms of other inks until recently my go-to ink has been Altenew crisp dye ink but I just bought some of The Stamp Market color crush inks and think they might be my new faves.

I've been wondering about Altenew inks. They have such a variety of colours and also colour groups. But they are pricey and I have a lot of ink. I have been collecting Mini Archival Inks and I'm so hoping Tim releases all 60 colours of Distress Ink in the mini archival. I like how archival stamps. I like having the mini's so you can have a variety of colours and store them reasonably.

scrappington I like the Altenew inks for their layering stamps - very convenient that they come in sets. I have the cubes rather than the full size pads.

Versafine onyx ink is my most used ink. It is black, the pad never dries up and usually stamps perfect the first time.
For many years, I used a Ranger line of dye inks by Jenni Bowlin. There were about 16 colors but they were all really good colors. I happened to catch the re-inkers on clearance after they discontinued the line. I thought all my problems were solved.
Then the layered stamps came out and I needed inks that had way more colors and I have been super happy with Gina K. Lots of colors, quality ink and pads. The only downside is that it isn’t always clear which inks will layer well together (like with the Altenew line which groups color together) so there is some trial and error.
I have The Stamp Market stamp pads. The colors are beautiful! They have a soft foam pad. I haven’t mastered how to ink my stamps without getting ink on my hands. The case is designed in such a way that I just make a mess. Just to clarify, they stamp great once the ink is on the stamp—the mess is just my hands. They have some new colors out that have different cases, so perhaps that will work out better for me.

Versafine black is my favorite black ink. I love how crisp and clear it is. I use either Gina K amalgam black, SSS intense black or MFT hybrid ink for copic coloring. I do love the Ranger dye inks too...very good coverage for solid stamps but I think they don't come in that many colors. I have Altenew mini-cubes and also a lot of the SSS full size ink pads. I find the Altenew and the SSS inks need time to "smooth out".
I think for a period of time, I was collecting ink pads instead of actually using them.

I mostly only stamp sentiments or dates on my scrapbook layouts, so my go to black ink is just one of the little cheap VersaColor cubes. It's been an absolute workhorse of a stamp pad, I don't think I've ever replaced it, and it stamps great every time. For a dark grey that is probably my favourite of all my inks I love the Wendy Vecchi Archival Ink in Watering Can.
I just tried the Lawn Fawn cubes recently for the first time and love the colours, especially how they dry a little lighter and quite true to the packaging image, and they all stamped beautifully.
I also really like the softness of the colour in the VersaMagic chalk inks.

I like to ink edges on papers. What brand would the peas recommend? I've been happy with colorbox cats eye ink pads, but they are now discontinued. I did have issues with a few where the foam pad fell off.
Also, I've never used the blending brushes. Worth buying or there's an ink pad that works better without the fuss?

The colours are great and they stamp so crisp and clear. They work perfectly for stamping on photos, as well. My other favourite is Gina K's Amalgam ink - I only have the Jet Black one, but it's my go-to black ink. I have pretty every black ink pad out there and it's by far the best I've tried. Other than that, I like SU inks. Almost forgot - I love the Distress Oxides, I have them all - they're great for blending, but also for stamping using Betsy Veldman's dauber-to-stamp technique.

my most used ink pads: Versafine onyx black for sentiments Versamark embossing ink Hero Arts unicorn white pigment Tsukineko brilliance gold galaxy and moonlight white - especially for stamping on photos
I have some Jenni Bowlin dye inks for Ranger that I absolutely love. So vibrant and crisp. They are discontinued now and I wish I bought more colors back in the day. I also really like the Memento dew drops for dye ink. I recently bought a few My Favorite Things and Altenew dye inks to fill in some color gaps and so far so good.

The TH Oxides work beautifully on dark colors. I don't really make cards so am enjoying this thread.

scrappington I like the Altenew inks for their layering stamps - very convenient that they come in sets. I have the cubes rather than the full size pads. Same for me I love my Altenew cubes for my layering stamps. My favorite black is definitely versafine! I have other black inks but come back to my versafine almost every time. I need to try the Gina K copic ink as I love the two cubes I have of hers. And I don’t really care for momento, it doesn’t feel as crisp as I’d like.

I only use inks for basic stamping on layouts (no cardmaking, mixed media, or other arts) & buy the small (cube/DewDrop) size. My favorite everyday ink is Versafine in Onyx Black, while I also use VersaColor in various colors, VersaMagic in Cloud White & Midnight Black for stamping on vellum or directly onto photos, & VersaMark for watermarks & embossing.
