Holy smokes. Those tiny little leaded/stained glass windows are amazing. And the tile...is it real? Do they make doll house tile? How do they lay it? In sheets? Pregrouted??

I don't know! Isn't it amazing??? The detail is incredible.
Reddit user who posted it states his uncle has spent 40 years working on this. It is a replica of a house in Denver that was set to be demolished. He acquired the original blueprints.

Oh, the bathroom! And kitchen pantry...and butler's pantry...and wine storage. What a labor of love.
Thanks for posting. Sent the link to my college-aged daughter, who has a fondness for dollhouse miniatures...and happens to need some cheering up.

Holy moley! Unbelievable, what an amazing craftsman! The bathroom tile fascinates me, however he did it. I wonder if he made the furniture.

Amazing-some of those pics look like they're of a regular sized house. I've always wanted to make a dollhouse but more plain. lol

That is unbelievably cool and I agree I would kill for a real house like that.
That said, the desire to straighten that one picture in the study is overwhelming.

That was amazing. I loved the little tools on the workshop bench and the paint dripping over the cans.

Amazing, so much detail and a lot of work.
I used to have miniature houses, I actually started with one and then upsized to a larger house. Yes, they do make everything for miniature houses/boxes, landscapes, buildings, etc. It is quite the hobby with a price tag to go with it.

I have a huge amount of money invested in dollhouse miniatures. Some of the artists that make these pieces are amazing. Thanks for sharing. I especially liked the cellar and the pantry.

I had a great dollhouse that my grandfather made for my Mom. We were living overseas and when we came back to the U.S. WE HAD TO GIVE IT AWAY, That little Inge Frey, from down the street, got my doll house. Next stop, Antiques Roadshow, Germany, for it.

Some miniature pieces are amazing. I have had a dollhouse for years and years, it will never be finished. Once at a dollhouse show I fell in love with a chandelier, I waited patiently inline to speak to the artisan, thankfully I was much younger at the time I caught myself falling over...it was ONLY $600.00. I do have a few things that I wonder what made me so crazy the day I spent $$$ on it! But I love it all.
The tiles can be anything, printed from the computer, heavy paper, plastic, or in some cases real clay. It is hard to tell from these photos.

Wow, that certainly puts my cardboard box Barbi house I made to shame. ...and the little houses we made out Sucrets tins. We would make teeny tiny little pieces of furniture out of teeny tiny sticks, pieces of pecan shells (there were pecan trees all around my elementary school) and other teeny tiny found objects.

I used to make Barbie's furniture out of play doh!
I loved that doll house. I can't imagine the hours he has spent building it. It would be fun to be tiny for a couple hours to explore it!

I would love to live in one of my dolls houses. I have 3 large houses, a beach hut and a green house. I make most of my miniatures, like food for the freezer and real tea bags in a box. The smaller the item is the more I like to make it. Bonsai trees for the greenhouse were a challenge. Thanks for the links to the professionals work. I am in awe.

Pretty awesome! Thanks for sharing. I had a dolls house when I was a child that my uncle made for me. I loved it. I so wish I still had it for my grandchildren to play with. And, so that I could play with it with them, too.

Awesome! I love to look at miniatures that are so authentic-looking that at first glance you think it's real. I, too, noticed the crooked picture. Other than that it's perfect! I can't imagine the time and painstaking care that went into creating it.
