To be clear, she had planned to get a cat after she moved out, we paid her adoption fee as her Christmas gift. He’s the SWEETEST boy. His name is Newton. He purrs at all times. While he’s playing, sleeping, eating, exploring....it’s so funny.    |

What a sweetie. I love his name too. There is nothing like having a kitty trust you and curl up on you, kneeling their spot to perfection before curling up to go to sleep. I am usually draped in cats every night while my dog snuggles up to my side and shares my pillow. I woke one morning last year to the dog snuggled up on my chest followed by all three cats in a row down the rest of me. They were not happy that I needed to get up and pee. It was a cold night and I like an open window when I sleep, so three warmth was appreciated. Right this minute I am blanketed up in my recliner with my pup curled up on the arm of the chair and my black cat snoozing between my feet on the footrest of the chair. The black cat is my Velcro kitty and follows me all over the house waiting for me to sit so she can climb up to sleep.
I hope your daughter enjoys many years of love and companionship with Newton. Red is so his color!

Our kitty has a very similar coloring pattern on her face. Someone once commented - "oooh, she has bangs!"
