I've lately been getting pretty fed up with my Silhouette because it's not cutting all the way through some of my papers. I've been using the default settings in Silhouette Studio, which is clearly not cutting it (haha, pun).
Does anyone have a link to a good "cheat sheet" for the Cameo?
I don't use it enough, unfortunately, to remember the ideal speed or depth for certain papers.

I've had luck using the settings from expressions vinyl. Some of the silhouette default settings are just way off for me too. I try and test cut, but....... expressions vinyl machine settings

Same. I also don't use it enough to remember and have to fidget with it. I generally just set the blade depth 1 or 2 more notches deeper than it recommends, and I do a double cut on most things. I guess something intricate may not work well for that.

I typically have to increase depth by 1 to 2, and sometimes I increase the pressure slightly (don’t overdo on the pressure, though, since too high pressure can give you a wonky cut). Sometimes I have to double cut, but not that often.
It can also help to slow down the speed.

I have a new Cameo 4 and I was still getting frustrated - textured cardstock was driving me nuts. I bought a set of the CB09 blades but after reading the very helpful info shared here and playing around for ages, I got tired of wasting so much cardstock trying to get the settings right and have gone back to the ratchet blade (if Paige Evans can get her intricate cuts done with a ratchet blade, I figure it's the way to go). So after a bit of trial and error, I've come to the conclusion that for thicker materials I need to increase the blade depth by 1-2 clicks. I slow EVERYTHING down to speed 1. For thicker materials, I do a double cut. So far, so good.
