I don't have this, but I'm intrigued. I will be following this thread to see what others have to say.

socalscrapper - thank you! I looked at that one but the price tag was a bit too steep for my budget I agree it is expensive. I bought it for my mom, aunt and my bestie and I to all use to scan family photos. I like that you can stick a bunch in at once and it goes really fast. I don't even think they have to be grouped by the same size. It also does all the cropping (something I hated doing on a flatbed scanner). Right now, the scanner is in Vegas at my friends house so she can use it. I'll get it next time either she comes here or I go there.

I really wanted the Epson FastFoto last year when I was hunting for a photo scanner, but I just couldn't justify the price ($900 here in Canada but it's on sale for $649 right now). This Plustek looks like a good compromise and the reviews are good. I didn't see this option at the time and decided instead to purchase a cheaper Epson Flatbed scanner, but it is so much more inconvenient that this Plustek one. I think if I had to do it over again I'd go with the Plustek - some of the uploaded images in the reviews look really great.
