I have a jacuzzi bathtub and I feel like it’s such a chore getting it clean, especially around the jets. It’s hard to reach certain areas from outside the tub because the tub is deep and there are glass showers doors in my way. Do you have any tips you use to make the process quicker or easier? I appreciate any tips you have! Thanks.

I don’t have a tub like that but find the cleaning sprays that include a weak bleach solution in them are really good for squirting at hard to reach spaces.

Fill it past the jets and toss in several denture tablets before you scrub it. Or get the tub and tile brush drill bit and use that.

The guy who inspected my house before I bought it said to fill the tub with hot water just past the jets, dump in a couple capfuls of bleach and run the jets for a couple minutes, then drain. It would disinfect everything.
I just googled and this came up: Fill the tub with hot water to at least three inches above the height of the jets. Add two to four teaspoons of powdered dishwasher detergent (or another low-foaming disinfectant). For a deep clean, you can also add up to one-half cup of bleach. Run the jets for 15 minutes, and then turn off and drain the bathtub.

The instructions with my jetted soaker tub said to fill the tub over the jets with the hottest water possible, then add 1/4 c powdered dishwasher detergent, then turn the jets on for 10 minutes. Empty tub, fill with cool water, run jets again and then clean tub as usual.

I have used bleach and powdered dish detergent for years but recently I was noticing black yucky funk and was appalled at the thought. I found a cleaner on Amazon called “Oh Yuk jetted tub cleaner”. I bought it due to the good reviews and I used it once so far. It really did get a lot of gunk out!

Please make sure you're not mixing the two -- carefully read the label of the dish detergent to make sure it doesn't have any ammonia derived chemicals in it. A restaurant manager in a town near us recently died when an ammonia-based cleaner and bleach were inadvertently mixed.

I hate my tub for this exact reason! It's a pain to keep clean and it's such a waste of water and electricity to just run it to clean it! I use a half cup of bleach in hot water and run mine for a few minutes. I keep the bathroom window open a bit in case of fumes. The tub was there when we bought the house. I'd never put one in by choice.

My best solution has been Scrubbing Bubbles. I spray it around the tub after every use. It makes actually cleaning the tub less of a chore. The yuck doesn’t build up as bad. I also use small pieces of sandpaper made to use in water to rub off the hard water streaks where the water runs out of the jets. A hand held sprayer is a big help too.
