Love for part of page 2! KikiPea I love that NYE layout! Especially the way you made the title look like a tiara! Great photo of the two of you! Thanks! The title is actually one of those store bought “tiaras”. I just cut the part off that goes around your head. 🙂

ecvnj58 , what a great album. I love the colors and textures in your snowflakes and I always love a cute penguin. The photo in the woods shows the height of the trees. I love that. I love the colors in your books pages. The photo of the books with the gold metal heart instantly give the idea that you love books. Great job on these pages. I love your heart page. That is such a pretty cut file and I love the way you filled the hearts with 2 different papers. The doily and the large script "smile" are just perfect. Love every inch of this. justjac , grammadee , boymom5 , and joblackford , you each have love in the gallery or your Flickr. So many beautiful weekend layouts! And that takes me to the bottom of page 2!

Ah, caught up on comments again. You have been busy little bees all weekend. Too bad I haven't accomplished anything scrappy.

I got back to cardmaking today I made these 2 for a card charity for heart patients using my ScanNCut to cut up unused paint chip calendar pages. I get the calendar every year but it’s an 18 month one, so 6 pages are usually wasted. I have a hard time throwing out pretty colors! I made my own sentiment on the computer. I’m happy with how these turned out so I’ll be making quite a few more. http://instagr.am/p/B7j3hnIghIk

Your ombre layers of hearts are awesome, joblackford! Makes me want to go find some paint chips and take out my heart punch! And "I chews you" is the perfect pun for a gumball machine image! Cute! Have enjoyed looking more closely at your pages and cards on Flickr, gramma and justjac.

Amazing pages, craftymom101! Beautiful grad page. Love the butterflies in so many patterns and finishes! And those cascading frames on the second page are a stunning design element! All the colours were perfect for that pool photo. Ahhh… summer...

I've been terribly slack at commenting this week but we have a long weekend coming up so I'm hoping to get caught up. Here's one from me. The journaling is hidden only because I mention some of the images I've seen that are quite graphic. There are several iconic images emerging but I chose this one because, among the estimated one billion animals killed, so many koalas have died there is talk their status will be upgraded from vulnerable to endangered.

Just left love on Flickr for your amazing page, Chinagirl828 . Can't even imagine what people and wildlife are going through there. Hoping the fires can be brought under control SOON and rescue and rebuilding can get going. Here are 3 cards I put together quickly at jennylilac 's cybercrop last evening. They are for azcrafty 's 2Peas Card Challenge Tuesday, yesterday. I had planned to make more, but my evening got away on me, so I never did get back on after I left the group to do what I thought would be just a few things. White 0n white sympathy by Gramma Dee, on Flickr These are not for any particular occasion. But I have used most of the sympathy cards I had in reserve, so decided to add a few more to that small stack. Three cards created with one share (4). Going the Easy Peasy route for these: three 5x7 cards (45). Total: 49

I used Vicki Boutin’s gold glaze on the large heart, sherif badge and exclamation point. Title, cowboy hat and wagon wheel are free diecuts available at www.paperissues.com.

On one of the digital sites, The Lilypad, they are doing MOC (Month of Challenges). One of the challenges was to use a cut out background technique. I was playing around with the technique and came up with this LO. It was a lot of fun, and I will definitely use this technique again. I used the 'Summer Birthday' kit by Just Because Studio.

Chinagirl828 your layout is lovely. Obviously the subject matter isn’t lovely, but I’m impressed with how you artistically captured the beauty and the tragedy of the fires in your country.

I've been a bit under the weather this week and am behind in comments. I will try to get caught up today. There are so many beautiful pages and cards posted. This is our great-granddaughter. I can't believe she leaves those big bows on her head, but she seems to love them. Angel Girl

joblackford, I love your calendar art heart cards. You are so creative. These are beautiful and such a good use of an old calendar. I love the thin strip sentiments. Very classy. Your Doodlebug gumball machine is fabulous. You do the cutest things with Doodlebug designs. Just adorable! craftymom101, I love your butterfly layout. The photo is very nice and the butterflies are gorgeous. ~ I love the way you have interlocked the frames on your pool page. The use of the woodgrain was wonderful. It’s the same color as the deck around the pool. Beautifully designed layouts. KikiPea, I love your cute little cowboy. Love the woodgrain paper, the hat and wagon wheel, and all the stars and dots. The gold heart is the perfect touch. So cute. Chinagirl828, grammadee, kitbop, justjac, gramma, joyfulnana and AussieMeg, there is love in the gallery. This catches me up to HERE.
