Just a slightly fluffy post out of curiosity.
Feel free to elaborate WHY in the comments.

I didn’t scrap before kids, but I can say that as my kids got older, the more difficult it has been to find the time to scrap. Between their activities and work, there is little time left. My youngest in now a junior, so maybe I will find more time post kids.

I didn't start scrapping until my oldest was four and I was pregnant with my second.
But I've always been a keeper of sentimental things, and I took lots of photos.
When I was a SAHM, I scrapped more consistently. Usually every day.
As a work outside the home mom, I scrap much less frequently, but in bursts.
I think overall I scrap more pages now, but am less creative with my layouts.

I didn’t vote. For me is comes in spurts. I’ve been scrapbooking since 1997/8. So then I was in HS. I have continued since then some times taking an extended breaks because of kids and life and other times doing it a lot. I would say I have more to scrapbook with kids than before since we are now a family of 7 vs just me in ‘97. Right now I’m trying to catch up from being way behind so I’m doing it a ton now. I imagine once I’ve caught up I’ll be doing it less or doing more mixed media.

I started scrapping in April 2002 - my kids were 10.5 and about to turn 2. Nearly 18 years later, they are 28, almost 20, and 13. I've scrapped a mix of current photos, early kid photos, and pre-kid photos over the years.

I didn't start until my oldest was 3mo, but I knew I wanted to do it after looking at my sisters' albums of their kids.

I didn't start until both my kids were out of school and in college. I got started by trying to sort through all the things that I'd kept during their school years. It started out with putting school papers in page protectors, I ran out of them, ended up at a Michael's store, saw all the scrapbooking supplies and that was it. And that's been 17 years ago now.

I started scrapping when Ds 24 was about a year old, because I wanted to document with more than just a photo album. I’d seen scrapbooking on an Aleen’s Craft show and it looked like something I’d enjoy. This was in 1995, I was lucky to get in on the hobby when scrapbooking was really popular. Gosh, that was a fun time!

I’d wager most women take up scrapbooking because of their children. I did. But I scrapbook way more now that my kids are older and I’m in a happier place with life. I’ve had some reminders of how unhappy I was with their dad here lately. I had to “earn” scrapbook time.

I didn’t scrapbook until kids, but I found it more difficult to get time to create when they were younger.
Since they reached the tween ages and now that they’re teens, I feel I have more freedom.

My kids are 4 and 2. I scrap more consistently / frequently now. But I don't think I'm getting all that much more done. Before kids when I felt like scrapbooking I would sit and scrap for days at a time, because I had the luxury of time. So although I'm sitting down to scrapbook more frequently, it's only ever really for an hour or so at a time so I don't get as much done.

More, but that’s just because I didn’t start scrapbooking until after my last child was born
