Maggie didn't do what she did because of the twins, it was because she lost her father and brother who were the last of her family if I remember correctly. Ah, okay, now I see what you were saying. I hope not. I hate comic book Maggie. TV show Maggie is 1000x better. She's picking up in the comics now thank goodness.
I also think TV Carol is a 1000x better than comic Carol.
Yes TV Maggie is awesome. My question was whether anyone thought Sasha would react so drastically. It would be a cool twist for comic book nerds by adding a story from the GN, but surprising us by changing the character. It also satisfies all fans' need for blood lol.

Speaking of Rosita, I would really like to know what her and Abraham are talking about 'when the time is right.' Do they know that Eugene is full of crap? Why would they help him though if they did? I thought they were referring to Michonne, Rick, etc. when they said they were waiting for the right time.

I'm wondering about that too. I've got an uneasy feeling about the whole Washington thing. It's either a load of rubbish, or those three have some other suspect plan in mind.
And I want the katana Michonne back - she's just not the same without it.
My hope with the Bob situation -- that the others find him soon (while there's still some left to find). That the hunters have cut off the bitten leg, so he will survive. That the dismembered leg has been infected from the sewer water, and they have eaten the infection and will pay the price for their actions. Or would the cooking kill the infection? Nah - they need to get some karma.
I'm in two minds about Gabriel's secret. 1) he locked himself in the church and left his parishioners to die (which fits with the message on the wall) or 2) he's in cahoots with the hunters and brought them there to kill off the group. Which fits how he was right where Ricks group were, when he was trapped on the rock. And what a coincidence that the hunters just happened to stumble on Ricks group (unless they followed the group from terminus).
Can't wait for next week.

See, I was thinking of it more like 'we'll wait to give them ALL of the info. If we tell them now they'll turn on us' type of thing. When Michonne was killing that walker Abraham said something like, "this is why we need to wait for the perfect time." Then Rosita agreed. I don't think the topic would keep coming up in the dialogue if it was just about them going to DC. Viewers already knew that was the plan for the group.

The baby is a liabilty. I understand wanting to protect her, but whomever is holding her when she starts to cry as walkers are closing in is screwed.

I just finished it. Wow! that was something! WHEN are those people going to completely trust Rick's instincts?!!! Had they listened to him, and gone back and killed off the rest of the termites, they would not be in this situation. Although, Martin would still be out there wandering around. I really thought Tyrese had beat him to death. SO frustrated that he didn't!!
I believe that Father Gabriel "shut the ark" up (so to speak) and didn't open the doors for anybody. I believe he left them all to fend for themselves because he is a coward.
I think that Carol was leaving because she feels guilty and just hasn't gotten over that and wanted to just leave them.
I don't remember seeing a preview of Beth at all. I can't wait to see what is up with her. I hope that they don't draw that out all season.

I'm not saying I wouldn't cringe if they showed her getting eaten or bludgeoned or something, but she could go missing and turn like Sophia did or she could die and they refer to it rather than showing it.

Or I could be totally off base here. lol

I don't know if he was the one watching them, but something's just off about him roaming about alone being so scared of the walkers. Interesting thought about him setting up the meeting with the group on purpose. I'm thinking it's the guy that saved Rick in the very first episode. They did show him at the end of the last episode, after all.

I think it was Morgan lurking around in the woods watching the group too. If it would have been the termites, Daryl would have found their tracks. I think Morgan is as 'skilled' as Daryl, so he didn't leave tracks for him to find.

Out of curiosity, why would Morgan be as skilled as Daryl at tracking? Daryl is a good ol' boy who grew up hunting, so I get him being good. I always got the impression that Morgan was kind of just a normal family guy white collar suburban type. Interesting read about Gareth. Comic book readers will like this, it says Gareth will be more evil than his comic book counter part, Chris. That sounds cool, Chris was just kind of bumbling along. They became "the Hunters" and hunted humans because they sucked at hunting lol. Link

Every single week, I forget to record beyond the time frame on the dvr. And every single week, I miss the last couple of minutes. Last week, I missed Morgan. This week? The recorder cut off while the termite was talking to Bob. Damn it. Things I liked about this episode. *Carl was not a tool. He almost seemed...untoolish. *Carol and Rick's talk where he asked if he could join HER group. She is certainly coming into her badassery and I like that Rick is recognizing it. *I almost think that Carol and Tyrese might become a thing. I kind of like them together. *Father G is a creepy guy. Was he the one watching the group the night before? Did he set up their meeting on purpose? *Poor Bob. I really liked him. He's so positive. But...you knew it was going to happen. No one is supposed to be happy during the zombie apocalypse. LOL@ Carl was not a tool, yeah he can get on my nerves I hate how he wants the group to always go running when someone is in distress I have a feeling that will bite them all in the ass some day.
I think that is why Carol was going to leave I think as much as she is being a badass she doesn't want the responsibility of it being her group or being the Matriarch to Rick's Patriarch role
Funny when Carol and Tyrese were walking I got that feeling too that they look good together
I think it was Morgan watching them or Martin, I do think the meeting up with him was a set up of some kind.
Yeah when he was getting all positive I knew his days were numbered and the hook up with Sasha was another bell ringing for me

That's what I think, too. I don't think he's an evil guy, just a weenie loser. What bumps him up to asshole is that he was having an affair w/a parisoner (sp?) and then left her to die, too! I wasn't sure if Bob got bit, but even if he didn't, I can't see how he won't bleed out now and turn anyway. I told my son we were due to have someone we like die because it's been a long time - Hershel was the last one, right? And I was wrong. IT WAS WORSE!! They ate Bob's leg. Without killing him first. Right in front of him while he was conscious. The camera shot of us waking up woozy like we were him and seeing Martin & Gareth goes down as one of my top 10 worst/most memorable moments of this show. I was screaming. Like I said last week about the Termites, resorting to cannibalism is something you might be able to overlook in the ZA. Luring people in to make them lunch is quite another. And eating someone you stumble across in the woods is also something you might be able to overlook. But keeping him alive while you eat him?!! No. No. No. They could have just killed him and been done w/it. Keeping him alive and telling him you're eating him is beyond sick & twisted. I stand by my vote last nite that Gareth is worse than the Governor. And where the hell was Carol going? The group welcomes her back w/open arms & no questions and she's bailing? WTF? I agree - I think she & Daryl will be separated from the group for a while. I hope they find Beth before things get too twisted for her and before they can have some sort of romance. I do not like them together! Did anyone else notice that Chad Coleman on TD last nite didn't do what most actors I've seen on talk shows do? Most of them refer to their character in the third person. He kept saying 'me' & 'I'. I thought it was a little weird. No Chad, you didn't forgive Carol, Tyrese did, dear. And yes, one more week goes by where Maggie makes no mention of her sister. Nice. Okay did I miss something how do we know that FG was having an affair with a parishioner
As far as the Termites I don't think they stumbled upon the group I think someone was following them or tracked them and when they saw Bob was by himself they grabbed him. I think the eating him while he is alive is payback for the group destroying Terminus and also I think Bob trying to reason with Gareth in the Premier pissed him off.
As far as Carol like I said in an earlier post I think the reason she was sneaking away was as much as she is being a badass she doesn't want the responsibility of it being her group or being the Matriarch to Rick's Patriarch role
I didn't notice that with Chad I was baffled at how stupid some of "Badger's" comments were like just realizing that yes Terminus was about cannibalism lol
Yeah I still can't get over Maggie not asking anyone about Beth or wanting to search for her on some level

I really like Carl and am enjoying seeing his character grow up on the show. The kid is a badass! A bit scary, he is a teen after all, but c'mon! For him to tell his Dad what he did last night after everything he's gone through? I'd rather have him with me than Tyrese. I agree he as grown and he still wants to see good in people you would think after their run in with Joe and his band of assholes last season and all the other crap that has went on he would be totally screwed up. I hate how he wants the group to run and help someone in distress though ugh that is going to bite them someday I think

Speaking of Rosita, I would really like to know what her and Abraham are talking about 'when the time is right.' Do they know that Eugene is full of crap? Why would they help him though if they did? I think they were referring to making the group go with them to Washington if you are referring to the end of the first episode when Rick had just been reunited with Judith. I don't think they know he is full of crap(which I think he is)I think they need something to believe in and truly believe he is who he claims to be, I could be totally wrong though lol

Just watched it on my lunch hour. Oh my goodness that ending was disturbing. Why oh why didn't they exterminate all the termites when they had a chance? Gah! I know I was yelling at my tv screen during the premier go back and kill those people listen to Rick, Carol go check the cabin Tyrese is lying he didn't kill Martin ugh!!!

LOL@ shut the ark good analogy, yeah I think it is that and maybe he has a deal with the hunters or another group to lure people for his safety because obviously he can't handle the walkers at all if his puking up his lunch is any indication, after 2 yrs of a ZA you would think you would be more zombie savy lol
hmm not sure about the guilt thing I think she just doesn't want the matriarch role that the group may want her to fill
Before the premier they showed Beth in some sort of facility she was wearing some sort of jump suit?? some lady was slapping her and the lady looked to me like she had some sort of uniform on

I was just thinking about all of the traps Morgan had set in his little fortress. Makes me think he has skills. Maybe he has a military background? I don't think he has a military background because of him having to practice shooting walkers in the first episode of TWD so he could be comfortable enough with the gun to "kill" his wife( He was shooting the walkers from a bedroom window in the 2nd floor of his house in the first episode)

I was just thinking about all of the traps Morgan had set in his little fortress. Makes me think he has skills. Maybe he has a military background? He's definitely resourceful. I loved his little city he had set up. I never thought of him as a tracker, although he's doing well enough to be following Rick. Incidentally, you can visit Morgan's apartment from the episode of "Clear." It's in a little Georgia town near Atlanta and the mayor gives you the tour! You can also see the cafe where Carl went after the picture for Judith and Michonne got the cat figurine.
