I'm working on the challenge spreadsheet this morning. I figure you all are chomping at the bit to get scrappin' so I'm trying to get ahead of the game ;-) I don't see a scraplift challenge or a stash busting challenge. Am I missing them or are they not here this month? And - are we using both version of point calculation for January? grammadee

Good question, gramma. I had just outlined the "usual" points calculation system in the rules (1 point per challenge met + creating +sharing). Should I be adding in the EASY PEASY system, or just save that for special--or random--times during the year? Thanks for doing the spreadsheet! I was planning on doing the Word printable list this afternoon/evening if MDscrapaholic has not already made a start on that.

I think we could do both. Some have posted about point counting being a pain so they don't join.

I started one Wednesday but haven't updated it with the new challenges added after that. Will try to get it done tonight! I'd like to not count points but that's just me. I'm not organized enough to count them (or even upload them to the site) and I find it takes a lot of time (to look for all the points I'm eligible for). Is there another solution for this? I'm always stunned by those who have more than 10 points for a layout!

In November we said players could choose to count all the points individually, or to just count 10, 15, or 20 points per project, depending on the size. Plus points for creating and for sharing. Some of the challenges hold the opportunity for a bundle of points--I am thinking the travel one in particular, but there are others with bonuses.

I was a fan of the easy peasy point system we tried in November. I think it’s a good option for people who don’t have as much time/energy for point counting.

I thought the easy peasy counting was going to stick around and I'm in favor of that if it means more peas want to play along.

Sorry for dropping the ball on that. Should have talked it over people before the challenges started. We will definitely do EASY PEASY in February, plus the bonus points for 29-4-29.

Is there any reason we can't still do the easy peasy for January? Personally I prefer to count points, but I understand why a lot of people prefer not too.
I also thought that easy peasy was a permanent fixture once we introduced it the other month.
