I have leftover Chinese food from Monday night. Not really left over as the container was never opened; it was ordered specifically to take home. I've been too busy to eat it but now I think it might be past its prime.
If it matters the fridge hasn't even been opened since I put the leftovers in there Monday night.

Rice is a little riskier so if there's rice I try to stick with 1-2 days. The rest I agree with 4 days.

I'll be the dissenter, no way for me. Wednesday would have been the latest for me.

I wouldn't eat it. I am quite generous with keep times of some things but stuff like this would be Wednesday max for me.

I’m eating week old combination chow fun as I type. I store leftovers on the back topmost shelf where it’s coldest. But I will probably toss anything left over after tonight.

A problem that I've never faced! DH would eat it, I'd probably pass.

Chinese food gets 3 days in my fridge. DH and kids would push it to 5, if I let them.

I'd eat it. Unless it had a funky smell or something going on anyway.

I find Chinese food not that great as a left over... I'm sure it would last several days, up to five. I wish Chinese food restaurants, would offer smaller portions at a cheaper a price, so could eat at one sitting and no food to waste.... actually I wish all restaurants would offer lunch prices all day long for smaller portions.. bigger is not always better...

The Chinese food place we go to offers 1/2 orders of Chinese Food. It is great if you want to try something different.

whether it is safe is one thing. But for me would be how it tasted after that long. I would chunk it for taste reasons at least.

A week is my limit for most leftovers, regardless of cuisine.
Unless there was something specific that would go bad or texturally awry in it.

My max would be for three days. Even then I probably would not enjoy it knowing it was three days old lol. I am a bit overly cautious though.

I usually have leftover Chinese food as well as I sometimes bring them home from dinner ( dinner meetings) and I'd keep them no longer than 4 days as well. If there's rice (from the rice container), I'd make fried rice the next day with whatever I have on hand, like some of the leftovers from the same dinner.
