Organization crossroad..

I'm hitting a wall so let me explain. My family room has an sort of invisible wall. Imagine the TV, and couches in large portion. There is a beam that divides it from the other side. I have 3 walls. The 2 side walls and the large wall that is the front of the house. On the right I have a walk in closet that I use to store supplies. It is reasonably organized. On the left I have a jet max type storage center. The large wall at front is a counter about the length of the wall. The set up is awesome except I really need paper storage. The jet max is filled and so I began using the walk in closet that has a shelf for it. It's aweful because the shelf is 11" depth. Plus all of my albums are in there too.
My wonderful husband would like to add an actual wall and add Kallax shelves so I will have a place for the paper and albums. I love this idea. Except , I take up the entire walk in closet and basically that whole side of the room.
I have to still purge and sell more supplies to make anything work at this point. I am thinking about removing the bins that are in the jet max cubes and store either my albums there or the paper. It does not solve my problem entirely.
I am afraid that if I let him do the Kallax shelves I will just expand more. I feel guilty about it I think. Otoh it's my hobby so shouldn't I just enjoy it and go for the Kallax shelves?
Where am I going to store these albums? I am no where near done with this hobby.
