Well I made chicken curry, so I'm no help. lol
I'm going on the theory that the Africans taught me when I lived there...hot stuff makes you sweat and so you get cooled by the breeze. However, our AC is also on full force and we just felt like curry.

Too hot - takeout or reservations
You can stand to be in he kitchen hot - we do salad bar
Salad bar is better then just salad - we include items on the table that everyone likes. Chick peas, nuts, hard boiled eggs, veggies, lettuce, tuna, I'd do grilled chicken too. When dh isn't in the mood for salad, I show him the salad bar fixings but include a soft tortilla wrap and tell him to wrap up his food. Then I include hummus and falafel.

Well being the perfect wife and mother that I am, (insert smilie gagging) I told my family supper was whatever they could find in the fridge or pantry! I had bbq potato chips and a toasted peanut butter sandwich, because I eat all healthy like that! LOL!

I got lucky with having her for a daughter. Now my son...I could fall and break my leg and he'd rush me to the ER...right after I cooked him dinner! (JK...but boys can be a bit oblivious!)
