Do you know if anyone makes or sells something like this? I like the hinge mechanism of the Iris boxes, but I'm looking to buy a narrower version. If I can't find one, I can use 2 gallon zipper bags, but I really like having a hinge.
Know of any, anywhere?

That's exactly what I'm looking for, but ouch, the price. I need a bunch, so unless the big box stores sell them I'll stick with bags. I really appreciate your help though. I knew they must exist. * ACK, just saw your next post! *

$4 each isn’t too bad but still a bit pricey
There’s a %20 off online purchases ends today ( including sale items ) which will just about cover the shipping because it’s online only for the 10 pack

Ohhhh, I like these for card supplies! msliz do you need them to hold 12x12 paper? The reviews look like the measurements are not inside dimensions and they might not fit 12x12 paper.

I keep my small inks in one of these. I love it. It stores about 70 of them.

They used to make ones that were exactly 1/2 the depth. They then switched to a newer version which doesn’t fit the 12x12 anymore. DH and I just had this discussion yesterday as I’m cleaning and reorganizing my paper wishing I had more of that size. I’ve been searching with no luck. If I happen to find somewhere that has them I’ll let you know.

I'm wondering if a company has recreated the "pizza box" to work as a scrap supply. I know the real pizza boxes work, but you can't see through them.

I know the real pizza boxes work, but you can't see through them. there are thin plastic boxes out there ( packaging thickness of plastic ) that are 12x12 but I haven’t come across the slim ones and the cover doesn’t have a hinge which is what the OP was looking for.

Actually, though they're not ideally what I'm looking for, pizza boxes might work just fine. I'd forgotten about them. I just didn't want a container that opens like an envelope or a bag. I like being able to leaf through all the contents without having to remove them all first. Thanks for all the tips everyone!

I came across the 12x12 (ones that actually hold 12x12 papers) when googling. I found them online at Home Depot (10 for $60ish) and at Target (10 for $51...with an advertisement about something for an extra 15% off, most likely in the cartwheel app). Probably more than you're looking to spend, but might be worth a google. I looked on my phone and am presently on my computer, so don't have the links on hand. I'll try and remember to post them later if you're interested.

msliz here is the link for Target. They are advertising code HOME to save 15% on select items on this listing, so I hope it works.
