I'm headed out in the morning for Connecticut and spent the entire day cleaning my house. I'm going to clean out the fridge later and it'll be leftovers for dinner here tonight. What's cooking at your place?

Chicken tortilla soup, garden salad, and left over gluten free blueberry muffins. High is supposed to be 81°. Warm but so enjoying this much cooler fall weather here in California. Can't wait till its in the mid 60's during the day.

Going out for a quick bite tonight. We have doggie obedience classes and no time to cook.

I'm making the same beef stew Lucyg mentioned last week. I figure considering we both share the same name and we both live in N. CA I'd copy her ;-)
Serving it with roast potatoes and roast brussel sprouts.

It's just the 5yo and me, so we're going to have orange chicken and fried rice, both frozen from Trader Joe's. Plus whatever new veggie we get when we go to the supermarket after kindergarten pick-up. Gotta love my life. oh, I think we'll try the berry muffin recipe from the lunch snack thread, too.

Still mmmm and it's a good thing, because there's still more in the fridge.

I'm happy today the weather is very grey/cold/windy - stew is a perfect meal (and you know, chances are tomorrow it will be back to 90 degrees and not a cloud in the sky)

I'm on a clean eating challenge and tonight's dinner is going to include vegetables and quinoa. Like every other meal in this challenge.

I am so sick of the heat I could scream. However, it's kinda freezing here right now. I like it. And I forgot to say, I used less beef broth than she called for (kind of a lot less) and added a splash of red wine.

I'm working a business reception tonight so I'm sure I'll be eating a variety of little bites. I'm having an amazing lunch at Rosa Mexicanos in LA at the moment and I'll likely not even be hungry.

We are having home made chipotle bowls. We grill chicken over the weekend. I make white rice for the kid and brown for me, season black beans with penzeys southwest seasoning and add cheese and salsa. S loves it and cuts down on eating out.

So far I have boneless chicken breasts thawed. It ends there. I think I'll saute some zucchini. No idea what I'm doing with the chicken or for a second side.

Seared scallops and mushroom risotto- DH is on vacation this week so we're eating well. Sounds delicious, but I had to laugh. The quality of meals goes down around here when DH isn't home. Soccer night for us, so leftover pesto sausage pasta with broccoli & cauliflower.
