The thread on the 70's face wash sent me on an internet rabbit hole and I discovered these: They are not the original, the originals were made by VILLAGE and were called Lip Lickers but that didn't stop me from ordering some for myself and my sister. I hope they got it right! I remember the dual slider tin with cola and cherry. I would try to use two fingers and get equal parts cherry and cola so I'd have the perfect mix. There is an antique store in the next town over that carries these. I loved them so much as a kid. Right up there with Bonne Belle lip smackers

I loved these! Bought a couple at a local gift shop for stocking stuffers last year. Just as I remembered...even down to the lid getting stuck occasionally causing your fingers to dip into the balm accidentally.

They look really cool! We didn't have them here in the 80s. I would have loved the bubblegum one for sure. Now I want the watermelon one.

ETA: Anyone remember how AVON did these? I found some photos on a blog. My sister had the cat, I was so jealous!

I had them too and liked how the slim little tin fit in your pocket.

ahhh! Memories! I had a tropical punch one. I took it with me to the beach in my cute beach bag, left it laying on the sand in the sun all day and it melted and leaked out all over my cute bag. I remember getting home and trying to scrape it all off the bag but it left a big oily stain and I was so bummed because I loved that big cute bag and then it stunk up my room and my mom made me throw it out. ahhh..fun times. Oh to be 14 again and my biggest decision in life was which beach to go to...Oxnard Shores or Silver Strand?

How fun! Can't remember the last time I saw one of those...probably back in the '80's!

I had the bubblegum one, because my mom forbid gym chewing, though she chewed gum all the time. I only had one pair of pants at a time, and because I just didn't grow, I had the same pair of jeans for 3+ years. I always carried it in my back pocket and eventually had the outline of it on my pocket. Good times.
