Re Pre Orders generally (because I have no experience of ACOT) I used to pre order from a web based supplier because they offered free international shipping for early birds. I guess it was their way of rewarding those of us who gave them a hint about what might be popular/assisted them with their own stock control. For a while it worked really well - I didn't really mind ordering my Christmas Journal supplies in June...  But a couple of times it went horribly wrong. Though I was assured I'd only pay when the goods left their store, once I noticed I'd paid when I ordered...months ahead of the actual delivery. And then one of my orders was forgotten and whilst waiting for the delivery, I missed out on buying it somewhere else. It all became too complicated. I'm not at all worried about waiting a short time - a couple of weeks - for something to arrive, but if I place an order more than a month ahead, I find that by the time it actually arrives, I've moved on. Actually, what I'd really like to do is to go into my LSS and buy what I see and like there....but those days are over, sadly. |

Is anyone still waiting for ACOT Creativation goodies? I'm still waiting for an order with AC papers (Shimelle, Vicki, Pink Paislee, and Pebbles)
Is anyone else still waiting for any of these AC brands? I wonder which ones are holding up my order?

I’m waiting for Paige Evans, Amy Tan, and Maggie Holmes to come in. I didn’t pre-order since I hate it when one item holds up my order, but I do want to order these collections! |

Hey Cupcake and Party Time are the newest releases that got held up. Love Notes just came out but was in stores before Creativation. I am waiting for Hey Cupcake. |

I keep watching this thread because I am really interested in how the Coronavirus is affecting the factories there that make our scrapbook products and how long the delay will be. Thankfully I just have a small Pre-Order and it's nothing I have to have right now but it could get frustrating for the scrapbook companies, the stores that sell their products, and the people who buy it.

I did get an email from ACOT either today or yesterday basically saying thanks for your patience. We know it say ETA January/February but it will be at least April at this point. They didn’t specially day because of the virus but yeah. I’ll gladly wait in hopes people in China can get time off to rest, stay/get healthy and hopefully get this thing to go away! As for the scrapbook industry, I’m hoping they will be able to be fine for a few months as they wait- especially the smaller companies. I’ll gladly buy their current stock of older things 🙂 |

We just came back from a trade show for tools and something new sold out right away. Hubby was laughing at the email from the supplier that the new shipment is being held off shore due to the virus. I said laugh it up now, shits about to get real. Half our stuff is made over seas, if not more. Which is a grumble for the customer who likes buying American made but that’s another post.

I had pre-ordered the TH Alloys from ACOT, but they still haven't arrived. I cancelled the order and got them at SB.com, but the points I had used for the order still haven't been returned to my account. I have a ticket in, but the rep. I chatted with had said they would be back in the account "in a few hours." Very frustrating. I hope I haven't lost those points. It took me a long time to hunt those cherries. I won't be pre-ordering anything again.
ETA: I misunderstood. The points were used for the part of my order that did ship. Customer Service gave me back the 1000 points anyway, even though I wasn't entitled to them. Obviously, I'm very happy about that, and I will be ordering from them again.

I'm still waiting on an order I placed on January 29th. If only I had paid closer attention to my pre-order items I would have seen that Carta Bella Summer Market's eta is March. So I can't complain. I'm just waiting and hoping I don't have to wait until the very end of the month.

I saw today that the item I was waiting on from my January order was in at ACOT. Now just waiting to see if it will send...I don’t remember what was exactly in that order and don’t want to look so it’s a surprise!

I noticed that the item "on reserve" that I purchased at SSS had been pushed back an entire month. I emailed them, and they immediately split my order, shipping the other stuff right away, and will ship the "reserve" item when it comes in. No charge to me. So I was very happy with their CS and won't hesitate to jump for a "reserve" item again.

I placed another ACOT order with a pre-order, but it's okay with me if it takes awhile because it's my Mother's Day gift. I have a couple pieces of Pink Paislee's And Many More collection in there that are slotted for April, but I'm guessing they'll be mid-May at least.
I have plenty of goodies to keep me busy while I'm waiting. And, oddly enough, I'm finding I actually like having those far-away-in-the-future orders to look forward to.

It’s only two (non-Doodlebug) items that are shipping now. Honestly, I was fine waiting for the whole thing, but it’s nice they are moving forward. I didn’t even contact them about it. |

Michigan is ordered to stay at home but ACOT says they are going to keep working in their warehouse. I love my scrapbook stuff but shut it down ACOT, it's not worth it.
