OK, I may not be willing to meet at In a tub but I am down for some smokehouse. The new(er) restaurant in Zona is excellent!
Also, I see your in a tub onion rings and raise you LC's onion rings.

Lol, my dh was born in Lawrence, KS (which is broadly the KC area...) We lived in Olathe for a year but it was way too cold for us so we had to move to Phoenix. He was (and still is I suppose) a big fan of Freestate Brewing Company

I was born in KC and mostly grew up in Leawood. I live in Texas now, but miss the KC area. I'm excited to finally have a team to root for in the Super Bowl!

Do we have any scrapping peas in KC? I have a friend in Overland Park looking for a scrapping group. She doesn't get to Omaha enough for us to go to regular crops or just get together to scrap. There's a group called J&C's Crop Group. They hold monthly crops alternating in Lenexa KS and Lee's Summit on the Missouri side. So far I've only managed one a few months ago, and their schedule hasn't worked for me lately. I found the group on FB. The next one is March 7th in Lenexa.

I was born in KC and mostly grew up in Leawood. I live in Texas now, but miss the KC area. I'm excited to finally have a team to root for in the Super Bowl! When I moved to Leawood (around 1986) we always joked we moved to the slums of Leawood.. we were off of State Line and 95th Street. We were in the older area (which of course is nice).. but the house was literally falling apart around us. The first time I took a shower in the main hall all tiles in the bathtub fell too my feet. The old lady that lived there used masking tape and stuck them back up on the wall!! That was the beginning of finding all kinds of problems.. A few years later the house caught on fire and my stepmum and dad had to rebuild most of it. After that, they divorced and moved. I did love that funny house. www.google.com/maps/place/9501+Manor+Rd,+Leawood,+KS+66206/@38.956697,-94.6181025,3a,75y,104.93h,91.53t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sz70n7SMhNdLoxe2Fj2RQ4Q!2e0!7i16384!8i8192!4m5!3m4!1s0x87c0e9165f7b53e1:0x9b73842c8ac3de41!8m2!3d38.9565435!4d-94.6176987?hl=en&authuser=0
