I did say I am a Bronco fan as I have lived in Colorado for the last 25 years. When I lived in KC I wasn't really a football fan at all. So no real ties to the Chiefs. So over the years it's been fun to be a rival with KC because my family/friends are there.. so for YEARS Broncos always were ahead of KC. Of course that has turned the other way but still fun. Anyways, I was just curious what part of KC ya'll are from? (If you don't care mentioning) I lived in Gladstone and went to high school there (Oak Park) in the mid/late 80s. (I think there is another Oakie on here) I moved to the dark side and lived in Leawood for a couple of years, before I moved out of state. I go back to KC almost every year or every other year.... I dream of moving back sometimes.. to be closer to family.. but doubt it will ever happen. The humidity would probably kill me off.

Super Chiefs fan here! You know we love to hate on you Donkey's. I lived in Lee's Summit, MO and worked in Overland Park, KS for 3.5 years in the mid-90's. I grew up watching the 49'ers and LOVED Joe Montana. So when he got traded to the Chiefs in 93 and began to play for the Chiefs that solidified my love for them and I've been a loyal fan ever since. I now live in Texas and wear my Chiefs gear with pride! This Super Bowl appearance has been along time coming and I'm beside myself with excitement!

I also lived in Blue Springs for awhile. My mom graduated from Oak Park. Now live in Florida, but have also lived in Dallas. St. Louis and Cincinnati. Go Chiefs!!

I lived in KC - moved just last October, but lived there since 1977. I was mostly north of the River, just north of Gladstone on 81st Street off Troost. DS went to Oak Park. Now I'm in Pensacola -- I loved Kansas City except for the cold and snow.
Go CHIEEEEEEFFFFSSSS!

Chiefs fan here -and I live all the way in Finland.
Football is pretty marginal here, but I studied one semester in Kansas during university and learned to like the game. And now that you can watch all the games through GamePass here, I'm all in. 😀

I started my life in Grandview. Then my family moved all over the place. My dad is back in Missouri after retiring and I still have lots of family in the KC area.
Wearing a Chiefs sweatshirt right now and have my Mahomes jersey ready for Sunday!

Tacos with powered cheese.. hahaha.. No one will ever get that! My BFF lives less than a mile from it and never eats it unless I am in town.. That restaurant.. funny story.. so I had no idea my grandma owned it. I had no idea she ever lived in Smithville either (she died when I was like 3 years old).. anyways, my husband's grandparents lived in Smithville and his grandpa LOVED that restaurant.. so when we would visit he took us there. So I did eat there twice I think, but never knew until years later that my grandma owned it...

Yeah I love KC as well, except for the humidity and ice.. lol..

Grew up in southern Missouri, then lived north of the river, then Brookside and now Prairie Village. I work downtown and this town is CHIEFS CRAZY! It's really fun.

Ask her if she ever ate at In-A-Tub? All us North side people should know this place!! I have eaten at in a tub once. it was … memorable. I've lived in in WyCo since I came to the metro in 1998, and I work in OP. Dotte represent! My chiefs shirt I wore to work today is from the Dotte Shoppe. I was raised in the Dotte but currently live on the Mo side North of the River. My oldest will go to Staley in the fall. I work downtown for the same organization as another pea. Sunday is actually DSs birthday, so while we're mildly interested in the game it's not the central focus in our house this weekend. FOr those of you who work downtown, check out Union Station's light set up. They have letters that spell out a couple of different phrases as well as Mahomes number. They're set up as free photo ops.

I was born and bred in Kansas City North (which is different from North Kansas City for those who don’t know). I have been a Chief’s fan my entire life. We had season tickets when I was growing up. Back when they kind of sucked and never made the post season. And through the Marty Schottenheimer years...and Steve DeBerg, Derrick Thomas (sad), Christian Okoye (I met him!), Joe Montana and Marcus Allen. There were some years we made it to the post season, but always choked in the playoffs. Last year was a HEARTBREAKER. Especially losing to the Pats. I have been a nervous wreck all post-season—but am so happy TO FINALY see them in a Super Bowl. I actually loved in SF for several years and was a huge SF Giants fan. But I was never a 49ers fan. I was ALWAYS a Chiefs fan! I am in Texas now, but have lots of KC friends here. We are all ecstatic. GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!

Also—LOVE In-a-Tub. Love the tacos. They would fill them, deep fry the whole freaking thing, and then put powdered cheese on top. Don’t knock it—it was delicious! And the deep fried burritos with chili on top. And the fried “veggie” sticks dipped in nacho cheese. Don’t think there were actually any veggies in them. Pretty sure In-a-Tub was the reason I gained 20 pounds in my 20’s.

That's right... my Oakie partner.. Did you see they are going to redo the entire school? They are even changing where the front entrance is?? I only know because I am in a few groups on FB and I am sure that is where I saw it. And getting a new football field (or something like that)... I don't really follow what's going on at the school but I thought that was interesting. We did live close to each other!!! Now have you been to In A Tub??? - NEVER mind I see your post!!

It is a 'memorable' experience.. HA I used to get their curly fries and cheese dip but they don't have that anymore.. it was my first time ever dipping fries in cheese dip... and it was heaven.. And their regular nachos.. their chips were so good.. I don't think they have them either like they used to.. you could almost see through the chips... yummy.

Do we have any scrapping peas in KC? I have a friend in Overland Park looking for a scrapping group. She doesn't get to Omaha enough for us to go to regular crops or just get together to scrap.

Hello Kansas City neighbors! I'm a Kansas City native, grew up near Raytown and now live North of the river. Lover of In-a-Tub!!! Lover of Chiefs. I used to have season tickets but marriage and baby changed my ability to attend the games, so I gave it up.

The other reason I gained 20 lbs. in my 20’s. And Topsy’s popcorn. I miss the cinnamon popcorn (when my dad was alive, he used to send me a big tub at Christmas). And the BBQ. I loved Smokehouse BBQ on North Oak.

My husband and I were at Smokehouse, oh about 15 years ago I guess (just on vacation, we were living in Denver), and waiting in line.. and there was this guy in front of us and I kept thinking something was familiar about him, but I could only see the backside of him. I was whispering to DH about it.. and he rolls his eyes because every time we go to KC I run into people that I knew.... the guy was actually my prom date from 1986... He turned around and looked at me and we both were like.. ummmm is that YOU?? ha
