This challenge is for those who scrap slowly and need encouragement to keep scrapping all month or those who want a little encouragement to continue scrapping. It is great for those new to Challenges and is a fun place to come chat with other Pokey scrappers. 1. Post a layout each week, or four layouts per month. These can be posted in the thread or in the gallery. If you post in the gallery, be sure to come to the thread and tell us you posted and tell us the name of the layout so we can find it. You can copy the URL from the gallery and paste it directly into your thread for a link. 2. This challenge can be combined with any other challenges and can be paper, digital or hybrid scrapping. These can be cards, layouts or altered items or any other creative projects. 3. Please comment on the work of others on the thread as your time allows. We all love comments on our layouts. 4. Have fun with this! This should be a "no pressure" challenge. Just post what you finish whether it is one layout or more than four. Come chat with the group as time permits. We love to welcome new members . If you are doing the Team Challenges, this challenge is worth one point for each page when you complete all 4. So that's 4 points for completing the Pokey Pea Challenge. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Happy February! I hope you all are well today. I am still nurse Kelly. I encouraged him to stay home and do nothing this weekend. He is an obedient patient so far. LOL! It's warm here so he was able to get a little sunshine and so did I. I feel like I am on the border of relapsing so I am keeping my distance from him. I don't want him to get my germs and I don't want his. All week we had to keep our distance and that's hard when you have a husband as cute as mine. LOL! This flu/cold bug SUCKS! Oh, did I tell you we were the last Christmas wreath to come down! LOL! I looked yesterday and everyone's was down. So, then I took ours down. I told my dh and he said he wished I kept it up until the weekend. LOL! Does he love Christmas décor or what! nylene - Thanks for our new thread! I told Ron you all have sent well wishes and he says, "Thanks!" LisaDV - Hope your dh is resting this weekend, too. Oh, the gift wrapped frames are a fun idea. I will have to remember that for this year. joyfulnana - GO Chiefs!!! I hope it is a good game. Are you all having a special party or going anywhere to watch? Enjoy whatever you do. Waving happy weekend to you all!

Thank you nylene for starting us up for February joyfulnana - it's nice to be back. DH is feeling better which is aweseome. Cold and dreary today. kellyr21 - hopefully you and DH ae feeling better super soon. DH and I spent an overnight together (no kids) - went out to dinner just us, browsed a couple of stores and headed to the hotel to watch a movie on TV before bed. Then today we shopped thrift stores and craft stores before picking up DD13 from her training weekend. We had planned to do a river tour but it was too cold and dreary for that.

Happy February, Pokeys! Glad your dh was feeling well enough for a quiet couple weekend, Linda. How is his ear infection? And I am sending healing vibes to LisaDV's household and kellyr21's dh. I have had a busy week. Came home from dd's Monday in time to go out for supper for dh's bd. Spent Tuesday and Wednesday starting to get my office/scraproom organized b/c I got the call Tuesday that the computer dh was buying me for my birthday and that I had ordered on line had arrived at the Best Buy. Thursday I dropped my old computer off at Best Buy to have its memory transferred, then dropped my vehicle off at the carwash to be detailed. Spent the day at the LSS scrapping with their January kit until justjac picked me up for supper, bd gift exchange, and a sleepover. (Can't wait to try the Foil Quill freestyle pens I had picked up with Christmas gift gc's, now that she gave me a charging station for them.) In the afternoon I got a call from the car dealership that the vehicle I had ordered in October was on their lot. So much of Friday was spent down there, doing paper work and finalizing the sale. They dropped me off at the car wash where I picked up my "old" vehicle, then grabbed the old and new computer and headed home. Dd is going to be taking both the "old" vehicle and the "old" computer home with her next weekend. She and I will pick up the new vehicle on Thursday. Today I spent most of my time getting my office set up again with the new computer, and trying to get it working the way I need it to. Still need to figure out email. Think I will need to phone the GeekSquad tomorrow to have them walk me through the process b/c I have tried everything I know and have not figured it out. Meanwhile, I am coming down with a cold. Nothing serious: just runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, etc, but a nuisance. Thought at first it was b/c of all the dust I was dealing with under my computer desk while I was crawling around under there figuring out what wires went with what and getting rid of all the stuff I didn't need under there. Told dh today that it is a good thing I didn't need to fly anywhere this weekend b/c with all the screening for Coronovirus, I didn't think they would let me on a plane. Have a great weekend, Pokeys! Enjoy the Superbowl, joyfulnana. I am hoping to join msliz in the Hangout she is planing to set up Sunday at noon EST. I need to make a birthday card for next week, and I really want to take on today's 29-4-29 sketch with some pic's that go with today's LOAD prompt over at Scrap Happy. I don't plan on doing all 29 LOAD challenges like justjac does--at least not one every day to be handed in by midnight--but I like to fit them in when I can. And this one is perfect for me!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Hoping the Chiefs win for you joyfulnana! I hope you are getting plenty of rest and getting better, nylene. I’m glad you had a nice time together without the kids, Linda. But just out of curiosity, what is too cold and dreary for a Florida person? kellyr21, I’m glad your DH is listening to your sage advice. I hope he continues to rest and hopefully beat this. From what I hear, it seems to go away and then you relapse a little a few times before finally kicking it and even then some have said a nagging cough lasts much longer. Ugh! I hope you don’t relapse. Please take care and rest yourself. As to the Christmas décor, you know I’m about getting it down right after Christmas and before my birthday so I don’t have it as a chore to do hanging over my birthday. This year we took it down the first weekend of January. Well, yesterday I noticed I still had my wreath up outside. It’s to the side of the door and not on it. It’s starting to look rather yuck. I’ll need to take the bow off and throw the greenery out this week. Today, DH noticed we missed a crystal votive holder. I have one box for the stragglers that will go into. What fabulous reasons to be away, patin! It’s good to see you again though. I jealous of your Italy trip. The nurse said it was just too dry and DH wasn’t taking his cough medicine. (face palm) Of course, I asked what she meant by the cough medicine. Well, he wasn’t taking it because he had the steroids and he’s still on the natural relaxant for his back and all the stuff we’re taking for fighting the cold (elderberry, airborne, multi-vitamin) you know, it’s too much medicine. (face palm). He started taking the cough syrup and I put a humidifier in our room. All better. Today he woke without a cough even. I swear, my DH really is a highly intelligent human being. I took DS to the Dr. yesterday. He’s throat wasn’t getting better when his other symptoms were starting to. They were out of strep tests and just gave him antibiotics anyway. I’d normally balk at that, but he’s probably only ever taken antibiotics 5 times or less in his life and if it is bacterial, I want him better before his trip on Wednesday. If it’s viral, he’s already at 9 days so he should be feeling better by Wednesday anyway. The sun is shining and it’s supposed to be 50F today. I definitely want to get out a bit. Off to putz elsewhere in the meantime.

knutschen kitbop Linda joyfulnana woodysbetty: Seems like a lot of us are sick or have fallen or have family members sick. I hope everyone is on the mend. Dh is coming down with something, too, and went back to bed this morning. I'm trying real hard not to catch it, I am very tired of being sick! He also fell into the bathtub this week. He'd just got out of the shower and was putting his pj's on... I was asleep and didn't even hear him. He was able to get out by himself but he was thinking he was going to have to wake me up to help him. He had a small bruise on his shoulder, but no other bad effects.
justjac I'm sure you and grammadee know how much we all envy you for having a scrapping friend to do so many fun things together.
Patin, we are so glad to see you back from Italy. I know you are having fun with your great pics. Sometimes I think I enjoy scrapping a trip almost as much as the real thing. Do you plan to make more than one scrapbook with your 1100 pics? kellyr21 I saw my card on your cute display board. So glad you were able to celebrate your anniversary even with the sick dh. Nylene, I loved hearing about the tapes from your mom. That is a great find. I found letters that my mom wrote to me back in the day when we did that and enjoyed reading them and scrapping them. She also saved all my letters which had a lot of stories about my children that I hope they will enjoy reading some day. grammadee you had a very busy day with new car, new computer. Best wishes for figuring all the new stuff out! I love the idea of you all to do the online crop together. I wish I could figure out the apps you are using. But, honestly, I can't even answer my phone most of the time, much less operate apps. LisaDV Im glad your dh is better...I was very worried when I read about him coughing up blood. Hope kids are better soon. I have a lot of pages done this week. After a weekend of making those horrible valentines, I was so glad to get back to my regular scrapping. I'm still enjoying using my pocket pages even though it gets a little challenging to put them in with layouts. I've had a few redo pages this week. I wanted to show you the old paper piecing tree I found this week. It is about 19 years old, I think. I used it a lot in my Glacier National park album in 2001. This pic is the hike that we took with dg sons at Canadian Thanksgiving.
And the pic of St. Mary's Lake at Glacier NP that dh restored for me. I told the story of it on the random scrapping thread.

But just out of curiosity, what is too cold and dreary for a Florida person? about 50 degrees, grey, 77% humidity so damp, and windy - it was fine for being outside but not on the water.

Glad your dh is feeling better after following doctor's orders, LisaDV, and that the meds help your ds kick that nasty sore throat. Ha ha! Yeah, a 50F day here would feel pretty good right now--but I don't like warm streaks quite that warm this time of year. Our trees and other perennials are conditioned to stay dormant until the weather gets warm, and then they start to come back to life again. A warm streak and then a cold snap can cause alot of them to winter kill. Congrats on getting so much scanning done, Linda. That is a task I really don't enjoy. Good to hear you are scrapping, @elaynef. Thanks for sharing the pic's. Bet that old tree embelly feels happy in its new home. And that is a wonderful restoration on that photo! Would love to see you on one of our Pea Hangouts. If you have an ipad, jumping on to a Hangout call is not hard: you just have to download the free app, then set up the tablet where you want it to view from and click on the link when the call starts. I could help you with that, even do a trial chat just to work out the kinks. I am sure other people would be happy to walk you through the process on any other device. Just got off msliz's chat a bit ago. Dh did not want me to be "in a conference call" all day. But now he has headed out to help his nephew with the cows... Think I will lie down for a bit. The cold & sinus pill I took this morning is starting to wear off.

Hello Sickies! I am so sorry to hear so many of you/DHs/kids are down with colds/flu or as my RN mom used to say , the "Epizoolics" which just about covers everything. Not to brag , but it is 71*F in Colorado today. But then again we are to get a blizzard tomorrow nite. I am going to cancel my Dr. appt. For Tuesday as it supposed to be nasty. Thanks for missing me. I missed you too. I LOVE scrapoing pics of trios cuz it is almost like being on it again with reliving every moment.

Happy Sunday! I am not 100% but not fully sick either so I am grateful. This morning my throat was really sore but the medicine I've been taking took most of it away. My dh is feeling better today but still sick. LisaDV , what does a humidifier do? I have never used one. Maybe it will help.
Prayers for all you and your families that we can get well soon. Hang in there y'all!
I put up an article from Scrapbook dot com here on the boards about famous scrapbookers. Here is the link if you want to check it out. Famous Scrappers
I tried to go to the store to get a few groceries but note to self, Superbowl Sunday is not s good time to shop. LOL! I saw the packed parking area and never went into the store. I couldn't risk being around all those coughing and sneezing folks. I ended up ordering groceries for the first time with same day delivery. I hope that works out good. If so, at times it's worth the $9.95 delivery cost.
@elaynef - What a fabulous picture of the lake. WOW! Glad you are scrapping and enjoying yourself.
LisaDV - Your dh's have a mind of there own! LOL!
joyfulnana- Go Chiefs!!!!

Yay for the Chiefs!!
I woke up Friday afternoon with a headache and it has been downhill ever since. Today, I still have a headache and a little achy. It is like my allergies are mixed in. Ick. I got a text from my manager that they were needing a charge nurse to work tonight for bonus. I just couldn't with how I feel today so I am unsure who they got because we have only a few charges for night shift.
The TV I got from my sister quit working after 3 weeks. I am glad my sister is taking the TV back and refunding me. I had gotten a notification on Saturday on my phone how Best Buy was having a sale on TV's. I ended up finding a good deal on a Sony TV and it was delivered Sunday morning. We watched the superbowl in style! We normally watch the puppy bowl or kitten bowl but since the KC Chiefs were playing, we wanted to watch it.
I have been busy since going back to work but everything is going okay. I just have a bruise from my fall at work. Thank goodness!! I am at the coffee shop again and they are about to close. I hope I can check in soon!

knutschen - hope you feel better. Glad that you were able to watch football in style! kellyr21 - I forgot it was Super Bowl Sunday until I was fighting the crowds at the grocery store. Hope you and your DH continue to get better patin - 71? wow and then a blizzard? grammadee - I figured no one else would consider 50 damp and dreary but it's partly what you're used to, I think. Although I've noticed that humidity really makes a difference - it felt so much warmer in RI at 30 than it does here in FL - but RI isn't nearly as humid.

Good Morning Pokeys!! They won! They won! I can't believe it and I actually cried when they took the lead lol. The parade is Wednesday, I thought about trying to go but I am not good at downtown driving. Mostly finding parking which is hard on a regular day. I am curious to see how many turn out, there were 850,000 when the Royals won the World Series and football is much bigger here than baseball. @knutshen I hope you feel better! What a relief that you only have a bruise from the fall, even though it sucks that you fell at all. I only watched the SuperBowl because of the Chiefs too lol. Best Buy has some pretty good deals on TV, that's where I got my last one. kellyr21 I hope the sickness lets go of your family and moves on! You two need a break!! Awesome job being last to take your wreath down! I love it!! Welcome back patin - you were definitely missed! It was 70 degrees here on Sunday and today we are expecting a wintry mix and snow tomorrow. I will be so glad to see this winter go. grammadee a new car! How fun! And a new computer! That's awesome! @elyanef I love that photo and you would never know it was restored! I also love it when I'm able to use something that has been hanging around in my stash for years! You can also access the crops through a gmail account as well I believe. That's how my mom and niece and I virtual crop. LisaDV how are you holding up? How is DH and the kids? I hope your household is getting better, you need a break from sickness too! linda your time without kids sounds good! I am all about simple pleasure getaways like that. I don't envy you the scanning. That is not a fun job for me. Hope everyone is on the road to health! Spring will hopefully be here soon too! I hope to join in on one of the pop up crops soon! No kiddo around this weekend.

Hi, Pokeys! It looks like it's my turn to have a relapse. I was doing so well for a while (long enough to get my Christmas down) and Sunday afternoon it hit again. It's not terrible. I ache all over and have NO energy. I am so sorry for all the sickness going on among our little group and families. When will winter be over? Hugs for all who still have sickies in their families. LisaDV, knutschen, kitbop, kellyr21, Linda, @elaynef, am I missing any? grammadee, justjac, patin, joyfulnana, msliz, woodysbetty please stay well! We had a huge storm here. Some parts of the county got 18" yesterday and it's snowing today. In our little pocket of the county, we got a couple of inches, but we can't go anywhere because the roads are packed and icy and there were over 200 accidents yesterday. I'm glad to stay in my warm home. joyfulnana, congrats to your team! I don't think I would like to brave the crowds of 850,000 either. kellyr21, thanks for the link to the Famous Scrappers. That was really interesting. @elaynef, I love that photo of the lake. How nice that it could be restored. It will look great on your walls. Love your little tree embellishment too! BTW, what horrible Valentines were you making? I think I am heading back to bed for a while. I need this headache to go away! Have a great week, everyone.

Oh, nylene , please look after yourself! Maybe if you take a day and really rest your body will have the energy to give those germs the boot! I am still holding cold symptoms at bay with cold & sinus meds. No fever, just sore throat, bit of a cough, and a stuffy head. At least I don't feel I need to hang a little bucket under my nose to catch the drips today! Sounds like with your weather this week, lying in bed is a good place to be! Hope all the other sickies are recovering. LisaDV , did you find out if your ds has strep throat? Is he recovering? Will the coronovirus affect his plans to go to Japan? My dgd called last week to tell me that the spring break China school trip I had helped to sponsor her for was now cancelled. Congrats to your Chiefs, joyfulnana . I don't follow NFL at all, but it's always nice to see an underdog come through. I think 50 years without the title qualifies the Chiefs for that designation! Until now when they have a title to uphold ! Your travel pages have been wonderful to see, patin . Thanks for taking us vicariously on your vacation. Hope you have time and energy to play again this month! Linda , I get that 50F can be considered dreary and chilly. It would be here too in June or July or August (the only months when we experience temps as high as your "normal"). I have also found that humidity plays a big part in how hot or how cold you feel. It is pretty dry here on the prairies as a rule, so when I am on a cruise or on vacation closer to water, it seems like cool feels cold and hot feels hotter. I hope you get some time this month to scrapbook, and just PLAY with your photos and memorabilia. You are doing so much WORK, you deserve to PLAY a little! I have finished four pages this month so far. Two I put together while on a Hangout crop Sunday morning with msliz and justjac : jiu jitsu by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Two I started yesterday and finished this morning for 29-4-29 day 2 (these pic's are of my late brother's family who were all together at Christmas this year): home for Christmas by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I am really intrigued by kitbop 's challenge yesterday, but it will take me awhile to choose the photo I will use (maybe one of the Hawaii pic's ds & family sent me last month?) and then amass all the rainbow of colours in various papers and embellies needed to accomplish it. I have some LEGO photos, but think that doing a rainbow in the primary colours would just be too stark a contrast. I really like the effect of the pastells... Okay, back to a bit of housework. Have the playroom cleared of Christmas crap and ready to vaccuum. Laundry has finished going through, and I need to make some beds upstairs. With all the clutter I have been going through in the past few days, you would think I would find a magic lamp I could just rub. My first wish today would be to have a clean house! Hope I would get a couple more wishes after that one, b/c I would need to ask to be able to FIND everything that had been whisked away and stored, I think...

I feel so late jumping in this month. I guess maybe that's the pokey point? Just keeping my head above water... and look what happened with my 29-4-29 challenge! It was the one layout I've done in a while, had it done early...and then forgot to post it! It's just such a dreary time of year, we all get run down. I'm so sorry you haven't recovered yet nylene! There really is no way to force yourself through it, only time will help. DH got sick on his trip to see his Dad. I immediately suggested (from his symptoms) that he might have an ulcer and told him he needed to get pantoloc. The symptoms were coming and going, and he couldn't eat what, or how much, he wanted without feeling sick. Yesterday morning he was vomiting. So today he saw our doctor and guess what? She thinks he has an ulcer Put him on pantoloc He's been way less chipper, and way less help, than normal around the house...I'll be really glad when he's feeling better! LisaDV, hope your DD and DS are both feeling better. Strep - hit by a cement truck more like! @elaynef - the St. Mary's pic is glorious! I had to LOL at your "horrible valentines" comment grammadee, your pages always inspire me. The christmas layout with the torn edge on one side, and stitching on the other - love it! I was scrapping tonight and did finish the day 2 challenge, but I felt little "joy" simply because the house feels gloomy tonight with DH being sick and DD being exhausted from a 10 hour dance day (there is a teacher's strike today, so she was off school, so they were told to come into the studio for extra rehearsal/class...) I think my next page will be a GRATEFUL page. I need to shake myself out of this February negtivity. My "problems" are first world problems! I am THANKFUL that my DH can just pop into a good doctor and get good drugs. I am THANKFUL that I have to work 7 days in a row because I have a good job. I am THANKFUL that DD gets to do 10 hours of dance, she has access to a quality studio, and the talent to be in it! And maybe put in some pictures of the good things that happened today too: happy mail, making sushi, a sweet kitten, TV, scrapbooking!

So sorry to read about all the sick Peas in here! I hope you are resting and will soon feel better, nylene, grammadee, knutschen, kellyr21 Same for your spouses/kiddos, kellyr21 LisaDV, @elaynef, kitbop. Sorry if I inadvertently missed anyone! So far, so good. No winter illnesses here yet, not even an autumn cold in late 2019. We're bound to run out of luck soon! *touches wood* We had a splendid day here on the French Riviera earlier this week. We beat the continental France "heat" records for February (and so early in the month, wow): up to 28°C or 82°F! I was in heaven. Alas, it didn't last and we've come back down to far more realistic temperatures since. Zut alors. To my fellow February baby, the happiest of birthdays, grammadee! Wishing you a lovely day with cake, loved ones and so much happiness.

Thanks, justjac ! I just might print that one and use it in my SCT booklet! and thanks to the other Pokeys for the birthday greetings! I always enjoy your gifs, sleepingbooty & those kitties are cute. Thanks for the fireworks, LisaDV and for working so hard to bring bd greetings to the Peas all year on NSBR. If I can figure out how to save and print them, the fireworks and the cake from the bd thread may end up in my SCT Sn@p book too. Last week I picked up the computer dh got for me for my bd. Yesterday I went for lunch with my sister in law. In the evening, dd and her little guy arrived for the weekend. This morning dd and I will be driving to pick up my new vehicle. (Not a bd gift, but a nice way to celebrate LOL). Tonight we all will be going out for supper with my sister in law’s family (her birthday is today). So I think my birthday will have been sufficiently celebrated! hoping you are starting to feel better, nylene!

Hi everyone...enjoying reading threads and catching up! I so miss my healthy and pain free body & hating the neck brace that will be with me until April (yuck) but trying to honor my limitations so I heal correctly and never have to do this again! I am still shocked at how hard this recovery has been. Heard all the talk about how MS impacts surgery healing but I clearly either didn't believe or was't listening, perhaps a bit of both! Yikes!! Don't think I can keep up with a team but starting tomorrow will post a layout!! Hugs to all, I really hope that all is better for those going thru stuff and that everyone else stays happy and healthy!

@elaynef, maybe one of your grands could help you figure out google hangouts so you could join us for one of the crops. I love that old paper pieced tree. And WOW to that photo of the Lake. That type of scene would be one I would want a painting of. Linda, “about 50 degrees, grey, 77% humidity so damp, and windy - it was fine for being outside but not on the water.” Yeah, that humidity really makes a difference but so does the wind across the water. I get that not being a good water day. grammadee, If the Japan trips happens it will be next school year, so we’ll have to wait and see on the Coronoavirus. That blue semi-circle really helps that photo on the right side of your page to pop. A great juxtaposition to your page. I’m totally smitten with that home for Christmas page though. Everything about it. Off to fave it in the gallery. If you find a genie lamp could you wish for my home (all pokey’s homes) to be cleaned as well. patin, how much snow did you end up with? Are you back up temp wise or still brr? kellyr21, a humidifier mists water (either warm or cool, depending upon your unit) into the air for those dry climates/days. In the winter, we seem to be very dry, especially with the furnace running. I use essential oil diffusers without the EO in the kids rooms, but hadn’t put anything in our room. I’m glad the medicine is working. Keep resting and taking your vitamins. How’s your DH? . knutschen, I’m sorry to hear you now have the yucks. I hope you will kick it faster than everyone else. How exciting for your new TV. Great day to get it delivered and set up. joyfulnana, congrats our the Chiefs winning! How many turned out for the parade? Did you brave it? I’m hoping for some craft time this weekend too. If we end up crafting at the same time, maybe we can “hangout”. nylene, I’m so sorry for your relapse. This stupid sickness seems to do that. I hope you are taking vitamins and resting. Wow to 18” of snow. I’m glad it wasn’t on your little pocket, and you could stay in and warm. kitbop, sorry about your DH’s ulcer. I hope he’s feeling better and helping more. I think I could use a grateful page too! Did you get a kitten?? sleepingbooty, those really nice warm days are gorgeous reprieves, but they almost make it worse when it goes back to cold, although here this winter hasn’t been bad at all. Thanks for sharing the beautiful photo of Dee, justjac. How’s the school year going? If I recall, you weren’t doing the community theater this spring due to a conflict with an outing you had planned. I can’t for the life of me remember the outing (a play, symphony?), when will that be? I know you probably are having a hard time not being able to do your yoga, woodysbetty, but do try to take it slow and steady following the dr. orders. I left love for your pages in the gallery. It’s nice to see you scrapping again. Will you be scrapbooking this weekend, msliz? How’s your DD doing with her GED preps? We took DS to the airport on Wednesday. They allowed me to go back to the gate with him and wait. DH ran errands while I was back there. I was okay until the plane was 5 minutes out for landing. I kept it together though. When he was through the door, I may have gotten a bit teary eyed. I’m mainly super excited for this opportunity for adventure and new experiences for him, but even yesterday had a couple of moments of sadness that my baby is not a baby and gone off on his own adventure. Then I started cleaning his room. I decided it was a good thing he wasn’t here, because I’d box his ears if he was. Several different things that he didn’t know where it was or hadn’t seen was found quite easily by just a small look. Ugh. Everything is clean now except I still have to remove and wash his allergy coverings for his bedding. He’s enjoying beaches and shorts while we are suffering with cold and snow. Perfect for giving him some gloating opportunities upon his return. DD’s cold symptoms are lessening greatly, so it’s just a matter of time. I’ll be cleaning again today and will continue over the weekend, although I also hope to get some craft time this weekend. We’ve also been using the time to make foods that DS isn’t that fond of but the rest of us really enjoy. Mainly they’re high vegetable content dishes or have quinoa. Yummy. I was able to complete 3 paper layouts last month during an online hangout. Here is one of them: d202001_TotallyLoveYou by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr Yesterday I created this one. (I love the bottom left photo of Roxy smiling - she loves attention.) dRoxyLoganBed by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr Break time is over. It seems my breaks are getting longer and more frequently lately. I really need to stop that, but ....

Hello all.
I've been busy scanning, scanning, scanning...about 4-6 hours every day. My slide scanner should arrive today - I have two large Uhaul boxes full of slides. Of course there are still so many more photos - I'm still working on the loose ones and the ones in photo envelopes (I did finish the 6 photo boxes) but there's a whole 5-shelf bookcase full of photo albums as well.
Bad storms yesterday and last night - rain, wind, thunderstorms, kept getting emergency alerts for flooding/tornados/straightline winds. No damage in my immediate area thankfully. One of the interstates closed for hours though due to next to zero visibility. And we lost power in the evening - it came back on during the night.
Back to my scanner....

Just a quick note to wish A Belated Birthday to our Dear grammadee ! Today I feel a lot better and I'm hoping I can get some things done later today. It's just the headache and body aches that are still getting me. The nose dripping constantly is considerably better. DH hasn't caught it and I hope he doesn't.
I am sending virtual hugs and chicken soup to all the Pokeys and family members who need it right now.
I have been reading the challenges for this month and actually finished one this week, but haven't scanned it. I know there is no way I can catch up and keep up with a layout every day. Some of the challenges are HARD! LOL. My card challenge on Tues will be an easy one. I have at least been able to work on it this week.
We got lots of snow yesterday. DH used the snowblower all around the neighborhood and by the time he got back to the house it looked like it had never been done. It snowed all night last night and more is coming today. I am longing for Spring.
Waving to everyone!

Hope you are feeling better every day, nylene. Thanks for checking in. Glad you got a challenge done. I am way behind, but won't get back into them until Monday at least. Will catch up with the rest of you later and take a closer look at your pages, LisaDV. Today I will be attending a painting class my niece signed me up for at a town about 40 minutes away. We will be travelling together. Dd and dgs are here. Spending the day with Grampa while I am gone. (hadnt known they had planned to be here this weekend when the class was booked) Dgs and I still have to glue his valentines together and finish them off either later today or tomorrow morning. We started those yesterday). I guess that will work for Tuesday's challenge to make Palentines! Okay, off to get dressed & on the road...
