Hi everyone, welcome to February! (Did anyone see where January went? It zoomed past in a flash!) I will be your host for Day 1 of 29-4-29. In keeping with our normal Saturdays, my theme will be Sketches, with a twist thrown in. Today I have three similar sketches for you to get some inspiration from. Each sketch has 3 small square photos. You can change this around to suit your needs - you may prefer to use three rectangle photos, or change it to one landscape or portrait photo - whatever works best for your photos. The Twist: Use three or more of the same shaped background shapes/elements on your project. In two of my examples I have used three or more die cut circles, and the other one has hearts. Scoring: You get one point for doing the challenge, and one point for meeting the twist on any project. Take FIVE points every project that meets both the challenge AND the twist. And here are my three sketches and samples, and a link to the PSD files in Dropbox for any Digi scrappers. These LOs were scraplifted from LOs I found on line, then turned into a sketch. I will come back and provide a link to the original LOs when I find them again! Sketch 1:

Awesome sketches, LOVE the interpretations. "Winter Blues" ...ah...the splatter, the colours, the placement/visual pull of the diagonal pp on the circle - love!

Chinagirl828, great take on the sketch - there's love for you in the gallery. That food looks amazing.... brunch is one of my favourite things to do. Is that somewhere near you?

Chinagirl828 , great take on the sketch - there's love for you in the gallery. That food looks amazing.... brunch is one of my favourite things to do. Is that somewhere near you? It's actually probably closer to you than to me. It's Montanias in the Mountain Gate shopping strip. If you're coming off Burwood Hwy it's down the far end, in the little strip of restaurants near the Commonwealth Bank and the pet shop.

Used the second sketch for the first page. Got the circles, too! It worked well for the Scrap Happy LOAD prompt for yesterday, too: There was this boy... (and their second prompt was CIRCLES, so this was perfect). jiu jitsu by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

AussieMeg, thanks for the challenge. I have left love in the gallery for each of you. I used the first sketch with Circle embellishments and stitched rectangle mats. Taekwondo

jeremysgirl I love how you've switched this up to four blocks instead of the original six and the colours are so gorgeous together. I'm heading over to the gallery to leave praise for the other pages.

lynnek, I love the combination of colours and patterns here: unexpected, yet totally working together. That looks like a marvelous outing for your birthday. Great photos and great take on the sketch! Think I caught the others on Flickr.

jeremysgirl, those bright colours are just gorgeous. I really like the look of the two bigger photos, and I love the way you did the title. Lovely photos! lynnek the papers you've used are perfect for the photos, I really love those patterns - so classy. I also like the look of the bigger photos stretched all the way across the page. There's love in the gallery for all the other fabulous pages.

Great way to jump out of a rut, Neisey! Love your take on the sketch. Great idea to use the kraft background. And those definitely are cuties! Eddie-n-Harley, that is a pretty card. Love the colours, and the diamonds! So cool that you created it from a square scrapbook page sketch!
