Once, I had a piece of meat about the size of a deck of cards fall onto my windshield as I was stopped at a light.

When I was reading the article, I thought of my sister and her incident that was like yours, but hers was a hamburger patty that hit her windshield. lol She looked around and of course nothing really stood out as to where it came from.

Mine was definitely raw carcass meat, probably dropped by a hawk flying over head. Made a fatty, horrible sound when it hit the glass.

One of my employees use to take checks to the bank for my boss that was a treasurer of an organization. One day while walking back from the bank, half of a bird hit him in the shoulder. He said it looked like it was sliced in half. He thought was maybe it was cut in half by a plane propeller?
What ever the reason or where it comes from, it sure would be gross to experience meat falling from the air and especially it raw!

Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs comes to mind. My kids loved that book.
I would be shocked if a chunk of meat hit my windshield while I was driving down a city street. I've hit birds and other wildlife when living in the country though.
