Have you ever made an album celebrating the music of your life?
I am thinking about the music I grew up with, concerts I have attended, and songs that are a part of different times of my life.
Do you have any thoughts or suggestions? Please share!
Chris

I follow shannanm.com - she made a 100 songs that changed my life album recently. www.shannanm.com/single-post/2019/10/16/I-Got-My-Printed-Book-Back---100songsthatchangedmylifeI think any kind of album about songs and concerts and music is a great idea. I don’t know if you have concert memorabilia or other ephemera that you’d want to put in, but the good thing about doing a music themed album is how much imagery you can find online to add in. Not sure if you’re a wordy scrapper - I am, but I don’t have a lot of good words for music, so I think I’d go pretty minimal on the journaling like Shannan did and focus more on collecting some of the album cover art that reminds me of the songs.

I've made pages about a song or concert that is significant to me but not whole album. Great idea! My grandson is a pianist and I sent him a Valentine with my favorite hymn. I have a bunch of old hymnals that I've used to make some poster and card projects . Almost donated them once but so glad I kept them. Will watch to see if you get some ideas.

I have not, but I love this idea! I can imagine how fun it would be to sit down at random times and do a layout about a specific song. I’m sure it would take you back to that place while you were doing it!

I am planning to lift this one.

This is something I’ve always thought about doing. I’ve done a few layouts of songs before but not a dedicated album.

I've made layout for concerts or music festivals I've attended.
In my scrapbook style journal, I've printed out bands and singers that I've seen or want to see, in increments of ten. Each layout has several of the printed out lists. I check them off as I see them.
This thread has given me ideas. I want to print out and make a layout of my walking playlist, that I listen to the gym. I want to make a list of my favorite 10 (or 20) songs and make a layout. I want to print out some of my favorite lyrics and make a layout.

I was just thinking about doing this as I was seeing music related digital kits this week. How timely this thread is!
