I was wondering if anyone has actually been lucky enough to get any of these new stamps - the Tulip Field, Sunflower Field or Lavender Field? I had all three stamp/die bundles in my cart on 123stitch, began the 'should I or shouldn't I" debate, and now they are all out of stock. I was debating because at first glance, they look pretty nifty, but closer inspection I thought, meh... Anyone have an opinion on these?

They are really cool, but I'm not yet convinced I'd get enough multiple uses from them to make the $$ worthwhile. Jury's still out, though - I may decide yes, if they ever come back in stock.

I think it's an innovative idea but not something I'd personally use a lot. However, if the designs fit your personal card style, I'd say go for it! Maybe instead of buying all three at once, just buy one stamp/die set and see how you like it...that way you haven't spent a lot of money if you end up not using it.

I have that set! I remember being so disappointed to miss it on the original release, and when it came time to vote for them to bring back a favorite, I made everyone I know vote for that set. I was over the moon when it became available again and ordered right away. To date, I have used it once. I guess that tells me all I need to know about the new scapes... I don't really need them. I just get lured in by the hype :-)

Not a fan of scene stamps - they're just not very versatile, doubly so when it's a layering set.

I ordered the tulip one from Simon Says Stamp when they had their sale last weekend. I'm in Canada so it will be a few weeks before it gets here. I ordered it because my heritage is Dutch and I love tulips and windmills. I'm excited to make cards with it for my family. Jennifer McGuire also made some really fun window cards using them recently and that really sold me on them: Jennifer McGuire window cards
