Happy weekend everyone, and welcome to 29-4-29 Day 22. Do you believe that we're already 3/4 of the way through February?! I thought that I'd better get a double page sketch in, for those who prefer double page layouts. I chose a Sketch Savvy sketch by Susan Stringfellow. I have also turned each side of the sketch into a one page sketch for those who prefer one page layouts. I was just about to hit post when I realised that I have completely forgotten to think about a twist! So without much thought put into it (sorry!), your twist is to include any three of the following on your project: flair, banner, bird, snowflake, paint, stitching or label. Take one point for the challenge, one point for the twist on any project, or 5 points for the challenge and twist. Here is the original sketch: And here is my take on the sketch: And here is the template for any Digi scrappers: 29-4-29 Day 22 4-1 Template
This is a sketch from the left hand side of the original sketch:
And here is my take on it (I turned the sketch on its side):
Here is the PSD template: 29-4-29 Day 22 4-2 TemplateAnd lastly, here is a sketch based on the right hand side of the original sketch:

You are really outdoing yourself with your layouts each Saturday! Love them and your sketches. Thanks for the templates too, so useful. Your kids could be models.

jeremysgirl, you have really captured a lot of Christmas memories. I love the deep red and green colors and that plaid is so pretty. Your design is "spot on" and it works perfectly with this sketch. That polka dot tie on the poinsettia is a great touch. Beautiful work. I made these backgrounds with the "smooching" method (first time ever) for Challenge #19. I wasn't sure I liked them, so I used the rest of the ink on my silicone mat to make a background for a card and used that for Challenge 19. Once I started putting photos over the biggest blobs of ink, I decided I kind of liked the smooched background, so I used it for this Sketch Challenge. Snow I added banners, birds and snowflakes.

Used lots of bits and scraps from Echo Pack All About a Boy collection, so fun!

I'm going to use the right side for the adjacent page to this one (the dogs with the bows on), just too tired to mess with it tonight.
The sewing spot is in our little laundry room. I'd like to say that the shirts hanging up to be iron are all done.... Well, I would like to say that. sigh, unfortunately I've just added to them. They will have to be tackled this week. heavier sigh of resignation.
