Hello everyone! I am pointing the Monday recipe challenge this evening, even tho my layout/example is not ready. I bit off a huge chunk - stamping, stitching, transparency, nuvos...and with all the bits I'm just not done. I will post it tomorrow afternoon. But not to hold up anyone who wants the recipe for this week: 1. layout about sports. Just FYI, I chose dance. It's very athletic and it's the "team" my daughter is on! 2. diamonds. 3. stamps. 4. thickers. 5. tags. gotta be honest - getting these things co-existing on a page has made me think outside the box tonight! But we got there The "by hand" twist: Draw something by hand. This can include handwriting - but not your journaling. Can be doodling, or even outlining! See you tomorrow, and because I'm late I'll give a bonus 5 points to anyone who gets a layout posted here before I do tomorrow!!!

I can't believe how easily this came together for me. I used: 1-snowmobiling, 2 diamond background, 3.stamped and embossed tag, 4. I cut 4 copies of my title and glued together for Thickers since I have none, but this makes my title thicker 5. tag. For twist, I doodled snowflakes in the background.(that's about all I can doodle!) Thanks kitbop , this has been one of my favorites of the challenges this month. Top of The World in Chile

OK, you beat me nylene! Love your snow "poofs" at the bottom and "mountains" on top and snowflakes all around! Mine is done, but I can't photograph it in the dark so tomorrow it is.

My example layout: no pp at all on this layout, very odd for me. The transparency is the cover of a paper pad by Vicki Boutin; stamping and hand-drawn diamonds under the transparency; puffy hearts (coloured with copics to match my transparency); ANCIENT tags that had holes in them for stitching...could never get them to look right with stitching, so instead I added nuvo drops, and thickers coloured with copics to be bro layout lace it up by kirstendrew, on Flickrwn.

I always seem to struggle with recipe challenges - I think because I'm being challenged to add more than I would usually but this one came together easier than usual - sorry - my scan is crooked
