A few nights ago I was looking at layouts on line and some of them reminded me of when my daughter when through a flower headband and barrette stage a few years ago. Many of her flowers were shabby chic style and I love that on layouts so I went shopping through her old stash of hair accessories.
She refused to give up my favorites (the ones I actually went in looking for, but she no longer wears them, so I will get them still, lol). But I did leave with a few pieces. I removed the flowers from the headbands. Some of the flowers had clips, I left those. So here is what I walked away with. I love the white flower with the green netting under it. It isn't near as pretty in the picture as it is in real life. My other favorite is the the white flower with the pearl, encircled in gemstones. That actually came from an adorable shabby chic pearl necklace that was broke. The two small flowers are on clips and are super shabby and pretty. FREE! yay me.

That is so funny! I don't think my 11 year old is ready to part with her flower clips, but great way to upcycle those!
